It took me a couple of days to read the latest @UN Commission of Inquiry's report on how Israel is deliberately targeting Palestinian children. I had to stop, again and again, just to breathe. The level of devastation, the detail, the evidence, it is overwhelming.
The findings are devastating and unequivocal: Israeli authorities and security forces have deliberately targeted Palestinian children, resulting in genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in #Gaza, and war crimes in the occupied West Bank.
At @Amnesty, we documented the genocide in Gaza in our report published in December 2024, and more recently detailed evidence of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank. We know the patterns. We have exposed the atrocities. Yet reading this report still shakes you to the core. It goes deeper into the intent, into the systematic nature of the violence, into the unbearable reality that children themselves are being targeted.
This is not collateral damage. This is not incidental. This is deliberate. Children, killed, maimed, traumatized, deprived not only of safety, but of any possibility of a future. Entire generations being erased in plain sight.
How much more evidence does the world need? How many more reports must confirm what is already undeniable?
Governments cannot continue to look away. Silence and inaction, in this moment, are complicity.
This must end. Israel must be held fully accountable.

This heartbreaking image, taken by photographer Mahmoud Hams in Gaza City on October 4, 2019, shows young Palestinian girls in deep collective mourning after losing loved ones to IOF bullets
It powerfully captures the grief of children in Gaza long before the current genocide, highlighting the ongoing cycle of loss under the blockade and occupation.
Their small hands cover faces twisted in sorrow no child should ever know — a silent scream against the violence that has stolen their innocence for generations.
In Gaza, children do not just lose parents.
They lose entire worlds.
They mourn in the rubble, comfort each other in the darkness, and somehow still find the strength to hold on.
This is the cost of the occupation — generations of broken hearts and unhealed trauma.
May their tears water the seeds of justice.
May their pain fuel the cry for freedom.
We see you, little ones.
The world must not look away.
"My son! My son!" A Palestinian nurse found her own husband and son among the wounded while she was on shift at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City when the casualties from an Israeli occupation strike began arriving. The occupation had struck a tent sheltering displaced families in western Gaza City today, wounding at least 12 people, two of them critically, with the Palestinian Red Crescent saying most of those hurt were women. She had gone to work to treat the casualties of the occupation's attacks and was met instead by her own family carried in on stretchers.
As it does after almost every such strike, the occupation claimed it was unaware of any civilians being harmed, offering nothing to support it. The attack is one more in the daily killing and maiming of displaced Palestinians under a ceasefire that exists in name only. Since it was declared in October, the occupation has killed at least 1,031 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded more than 3,300, striking people again and again in the tents they were driven into for shelter.

They’re the only people on the planet who feel entitled to play victim after invading and occupying sovereign countries. They’ve killed 4,000 people in Lebanon since MARCH.
But Israeli lives are just so much more precious than everyone else’s.
The only thing worse than murdering 20,000 children is calling the people who helped murder 20,000 children monsters.
Does the genocide lobby even hear itself anymore?
Mainstream commentators discussing Starmer’s fall, all (from what I have seen) simply IGNORE the GENOCIDE in Gaza
In the country this is a huge issue
In the politico-media “elites” it is IGNORED
Without this it is impossible to understand what has happened to Starmer
🚨HEARTBREAKING: 18 year old Gaza influencer Alaa Nawaf challenged her followers to endure the deafening sound of Israeli military drones hovering relentlessly above their heads as she tried to sleep inside her family’s tent.
Through a simple video, Alaa sought to convey one of the daily hardships people in Gaza face, constant noise, fear, and exhaustion that have become part of everyday life. The video resonated widely, drawing strong engagement and messages of solidarity from people around the world who expressed support and empathy for Gaza’s civilians.
American journalist Ana Kasparian told Israelis: You may consider yourselves the "Chosen People," but your actions are diabolical. The entire world—including young Americans from diverse backgrounds—loathes you for killing innocent people.
Israel’s Suicidal Rupture with the U.S., by @ChrisLynnHedges
"Israel is contaminated by racism and genocidal violence. It is blinded by a repugnant moral superiority. It is corrupted by a class of Zionist billionaires in the U.S. who use their wealth to bend foreign policy to serve Israeli interests. It is equippedwith a nuclear arsenal Israeli officials have repeatedly threatened to use."
