Great morning touring the Huntsman Cancer Institute. I was privileged to meet with their CEO and executive leadership team for an up close look at the work they are doing.
Two- thirds of @huntsmancancer patients live in Utah. I am thankful for their dedication to lifesaving research and care. In just over 25 years, HCI has redefined the fight against cancer—from understanding and prevention, to early detection, treatment, and improved survival rates.
A new study suggests people with more than one tattoo session may have a lower risk of melanoma. While the reasons aren’t yet clear, this surprising discovery highlights the need for more research as tattoos become increasingly common. https://t.co/RJuDMJIzeD

We're thrilled to welcome our 2024 PathMaker Scholars to campus! These talented high school and undergraduate students will be diving into hands-on cancer research with our teams for the next 10 weeks. We can't wait to see the amazing things they achieve! @PathMaker_HCI
I think it’s also useful for students to know that it’s hard for professors to recommend them for jobs when they complain numerous times about a grade. Ultimately it’s way better to sit with the grade you earned than push for something you didn’t and lose a prof ally.

2021 has brought both challenges and renewed connection and hope. Watch the @umichsph year in review video to see what we accomplished this year, and read about our year here: https://t.co/CFw5wtrdsZ
We need to address extremism and violent rhetoric in order to bring people back together. Our communities, our state, and our country need to heal. We can start by electing reasonable leaders who will respect democracy and bring people back to the middle.

@GovernorLittle@GovernorLittle I also don't believe in forcing vaccinations on the citizens of Idaho but we need to communicate the importance of the vaccine to Idahoans and once again gain the trust of the people. I would love the help at the state government level! #publichealthprofessional
