Master of history, learner in code, pixel art novice.
I made a Twitter account a decade ago. I think it's time to start using it.

I think I found a bug. Spoilery bug. #ReturnToMonkeyIsland @grumpygamer @phrenopolis

I turn 30 today, but at least a new Monkey Island game is being released. Which is nice. #ReturnToMonkeyIsland #MonkeyIsland

#TheSickTheDyingAndTheDead is pretty darn good #Megadeth

"Elmore's dragon". Inspired by the great Larry Elmore and his dragon illustrations. #dragon #dragonlance #larryelmore #DnD #pixelart

#ReturnToMonkeyIsland is released on my birthday! I wonder if being born on the International Talk Like a Pirate Day destined #monkeyisland and other #LucasArts adventure games to have a such big impact on my life.

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

My first big piece. Made this a while back as a tribute to classic LucasFilm adventure games. Now even more relevant! I call it "The EGA Bar" #ReturnToMonkeyIsland #MonkeyIsland #pixelart Still need more practice!

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@grumpygamer Oh, it releases on my birthday! Thanks, Ron. You really shouldn't have.

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@ackley_jonathan @larry_ahern Who would have thought that Guybrush was also a master banjo player! I'm still waiting on the opportunity to say "you shot my banjo!" in a conversation.

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@matt_j2 @ackley_jonathan Maybe they're trying something different

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@ackley_jonathan How come Mort had a paper voodoo doll in Plunder Island? I always thought that was a fun gag.

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@ackley_jonathan Aric Wilmunder seems like a real programming wizard the more I hear about him.

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@grumpygamer @Mawkyman @ackley_jonathan @Gamrok @DavidBFox @TimOfLegend @phrenopolis - I can stop dithering anytime I want
- When was the last time you drew a solid field of colour?

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@camulust These look great! The limited EGA palette really brings out creativity

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@ackley_jonathan @SasquatcherG "Welcome patron to the Barbery Coast" -"Where every haircut is an adventure!" Love the pirate stories they tell, especially when Van Helgen sings the Monkey Island theme. Or Bill's captain who had an uncanny fifth sense of finding gold 😁

[Hannu-Pekka Kangas @kangaskaani]

@ackley_jonathan I could listen to the difficulty screen music forever
