Out of the 680 books they just banned, 140 were by women. Books were not banned just because they were written by women.

I swear I don’t even get surprised when BBC post garbage like this, but to see Muslims co-signing it and spreading it.

“All books by Afghan women are banned” is a nonsense quote we’ve seen on some news sites. There are way over 140 books written by women that are taught in Afghan universities.

Majority of books banned were about gender studies, secular politics, democracy, or Iranian propaganda.
