Tools for thought affect the contents of our thoughts and memories.
Kanopi helps me see structure and makes me consider how things are related using text, links, lists, and diagrams.

Working on a unified design for non-text representations of Notes.
When thinking about something with a primary non-textual representation -- like an image, a video, a tweet, a person, a location -- Kanopi needs to show it.
@brianru@conways_law Kanopi's Linked Notes are entity-relationship networks.
Maps are spatial documents for viewing and editing subsets of that network.
Linked Notes, Maps, and Trees can all be published for read-only viewing and shared for versioned collaboration.
Thinking with @Twitter is now better with Kanopi!
- View tweets in Kanopi
- Capture, annotate and integrate with your notes
- Navigate Twitter threads, mentions, users, and topics with Kanopi's Link Suggestions

@flancian @joebobmiles @thlpr@an_agora To what extent do 2 and 3 require rendering content from 1 tool inside another? I think that's the tricky part.
I think 1 can mostly be solved with stable URLs and publishing. What do you think?
@flancian @joebobmiles @thlpr@an_agora That's a good question.
I think there are uses for inter-tool portability, collaboration, and reference -- which are all related but different. I'm totally open to federation/integration in theory.

@flancian @joebobmiles @thlpr@an_agora Working on something like that @joebobmiles
I want to interact with Twitter, and the Web, primarily from the context of my notes, my thoughts.
In Kanopi, a note can *be* a tweet, so it's natural for replies, quotes, links, etc to *be* forward and backlinks.
