Kanro Fund's journey is just starting.
Like @VitalikButerin said in his 2026 tweet, "[we are building] applications that pass the walkaway test: they keep running even if the original developers disappear."
And so are we, in Kanro Fund.
From the very begining, Kanro was built over a walkaway test. It was launched and taken over by a community.
To make that happen, we had a few steps to walk through, so we were able to keep it running as it should.
From that, we may speak about this account. The person who has been writing to you in the recent past, a few weeks I might say, have only delegation authority on this account. The real creator of it still has full authorities, besides not being really active on our social media.
For that, we found that our safest and mature way to handle it was to build another X account from scratch. As we aim to build Kanro as a community, there is no better way into using our socials rather than we being able to fully access it. No possible rogue decisions.
For that, I'm glad to invite you to access our new twitter account @Kanrofundoneth. We are set to update our website and X account on dexscreener, and to push it forward as we should!
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Believe in somETHing.

The conversation between @VitalikButerin and @beffjezos is live on @frontiertower.
I'm still excited to watch the full conversation, but what should you expect:
Beff stands for a e/acc perspective, which is effective acceleration. It is a philosophy around the tech development, which we should accelerate it our primary goals.
Vitalik stands for d/acc, which is basically the same thing, but focusing on things which defend us rather than harming us. From beff PoV, it's basically part of the game. Vitalik's position comes where we as humans must be the central point of decision.
Yeah, our goals are also measurable.
At start, we had a target of 1ETH per day in donations. But $ETH lost some traction, and it got harder to do.
Now, our goal keeps on being surpassing Moodeng in donations.
So far 56ETH, which seems pretty fine. But you supported moodeng all the way, so it's harder for us to compare since you haven't supported us, YET.
But it's pretty fair, ngl.
The thing I value the most from nowadays approach is âwe should build something that wayâ.
Itâs not something already done. Itâs not a specific answer. Itâs âI think we should lean ourselves towards that and do our best to solve those things.â
Itâs attached to Ethereum, itâs attached to crypto, itâs attached to our societal efforts.
Kanro Fund launched when $ETH was trading close to 4k/ETH, back in October 2025.
Since then, a lot rolled under the bridge, but we keep consistent. I'm sure many of you didn't think we'd still be this active, this inventive, pushing forward as we are.
From a 'Tax to @VitalikButerin wallet' our narrative grew much stronger, much deeper. We connected ou culture to d/acc strategy. We rebranded, DAO proposition, active on $ETH communities, closer to our propositions and values, we built @hooladeth . And still holding strong, after almost 5 months.
Over $110k donated to Vitalik's biotech project. Straight in ETH. No middleman. No centralization rather than Vitalik's decision on donations.
Also our narrative and values grew stronger. The 'new version' of Vitalik is straight forward. Ethereum is here for those who need Ethereum, not the other way. Kanro is here for those who need Kanro, not the other way.
Back in the days, when ETH was trading on 4k, we'd be bragging about donating close to 230k. But we keep strong. And are built stronger.
Kanro is good.
I think we are both in chaotic era and âproof of valueâ crisis.
From a perspective on your last https://t.co/qmuHKiakOL article, Balance of Power, I got how important it is for us to find balance between things that may harm us rathet than defend. But where we are right now, from a democratic perspective, is surely concerning. Because we are lacking on unity and also common interests. We are blurred on authoritarian leaders opinions, gas lightening us from what matters.
The chaos is a project. We got to ânonstopâ worry about things that really matters to us because A leader is threatening the global comercial system. Or later because there is a wwIII threat, and our democratic tools take one year to be effective.
And if we need balance of power between authoritarians, we also need action. Thatâs why I see many of our philosophical related subjects get undermined by all the noise.
And the âall the time noiseâ is a project.
All that being said, from the societal side of it, we got to be more active. Not just âsofa-complainersâ. On crypto, we got to build and be welcoming to new people and target peopleâs problems in order to be relevant.
AI surely brought us tools and power, but we also canât make the mistake on acting just privately. We got to open-source things, we got to empower as a community.
And as a society, we got to step forward.
Anyhow, I like how you are positioning yourself more actively, even about politics lately.
But also to remember. Sometimes we canât sit on the philosophical chair for too long. We got to take actions in order to balance power. They are not waiting for us.
Important to make yâall aware of ongoing studies.
People empowering braincells to play DOOM. Other researches on AI controlling movements on a body (Insects trial).
Even the tomato grown from Anthropic.
In order to make this grow in decentralization, itâs also needed biotech funding. Thatâs why we are here. Thatâs why @VitalikButerin is important on a taks of funding projects governments are yet not interested at.
I share this impopular opinion on food, brother:
Over the centuries, we learned that abundance and feasts were part of healthy way of living. It comes from feudalism etc, which rich people had plenty to eat while most starved, so âeating a lotâ had a societal value.
But historically, the âmeal thingâ was about eating together. Was something about scarcity, and humans naturally got theirselves around food as a ritual.
But itâs fun how food became this sign of abundance and wealth, so people are just moved to eat a lot. And there it comes when you say about people eating more than they even want.
Ofc there are some disorders also attached to it. But it also triggers me the fact that we are âmovedâ to eat more than we need, and also how impolite it is to deny food when we are offered.
Man, what I think as a movement, also from this AI season we are living in, is that people are back at interest on deploying and making something. I see the vibes shifting even on my closer groups, which are mostly my degen and trench friends.
What @austingriffith did on claw.atg was something brilliant to my eyes. Because we had a touch of an Ethereum Foundation dev, which is both respectable from his work and you guys are sometimes seen as 'the other layer', and he brought his work closer to users.
And I think we are in a really invitive season of 'let's build on top of ethereum'. That's the same feeling some friends of mine felt on last Ethereum Devcon in Argentina. It got me curious on how devs there were really excited on building the future of ethereum.
And from the culture side, I can't agree more. And it's even something I spoke about several times on other posts and replies we've been doing to you.
And also from this, I can say we got our step forward. Both on bringing utility to our meme project, and also spreading around the culture. To so many people we already explained about d/acc, about some concerns and positions to be taken. Why it does matter that " @VitalikButerin " is selling ETH because he wants to invest back on projects around Ethereum, and also why it does matter philanthropic funding, why investing in Biotech is also something important.
You can sometimes argue around memecoins, afraid of 'interacting' meaning 'support' to some people. We can't control how people would react to this. But you can't deny how active and supportive this approach on 'speaking up', investing in culture, alongside with our biotech funding utility goes by.
I'm excited about the Ethereum's future. And I'm also excited to keep on speaking up. Expect nothing less that those from our end.
Can't help myself in remembering this interaction from them. Same subject, but a few years later.
At this one, @VitalikButerin spoke about his biotech and d/acc themed priorities.
Time goes by, AI came as we see, but we also see consistency from VB.
Looks like the world has gone further on @beffjezos direction, but it's all about balance. d/acc is here in order to balance what e/acc has been doing.
Hope to see that convo soon.

@VitalikButerin@slatestarcodex Can we make a prediction on when you gonna notice those 56ETH we already sent to Kanro Multisig?
We plan to continue doing so.
Just a few hours ago @VitalikButerin and @beffjezos a conversation about e/acc vs. d/acc.
The first stands on the view that technology is going to thrive wether you like it or not, thatâs inevitable, and we should do everything to let it accelerate.
On the other side, Vitalik defends the PoV of a defensive side of acceleration. Focus on things that defend us rather than harm.
(Easy example: donât use AI to make autonomous weapons -the whole @AnthropicAI novel. Fund AI driven technologies to accelerate biomedical research).
Anyhow, the convo was recorded and should be live by @a16z media.
I think the key difference between them is philosophical, but to understand this I got a concept of the âTechno Calvinismâ. @VitalikButerin reposted this article last year.
Long story short, techno calvinists believe technology will advance no matter what, wether we like it or not. When you add e/acc concept, you get to the point which tech will evolve no matter what, and the âbad consequencesâ on e/acc would also be solved by technology, so itâs all good and some sort of inevitable destiny.
d/acc gets the human side of it as they central point of decisions. Focus on things that benefit/defend us rather than harm.
Easy example on all the @AnthropicAI novel recently, where using AI on autonomous weapons could harm us. Even Dario Amodei stated that at his responde do DoW.
So instead of focusing on military AI, why donât we focus on âhealth technologiesâ?
Why did the US government cut the budget on anti-pandemic researches, for examples, but pushes forward on military?
Also to remember, part of Vitalikâs effort on biotech comes where there is no real interest of governments or corporations to fund some projects. Anti-airborne and anti-pandemic are a clear example of meaningful technologies which he saw that philanthropic funding would be the solution, since the first two of them donât show enough efforts (Thatâs also why we built Kanro Fund and donated over 100k to Vitalik to help him on that task).
