My cousin married a girl from serious money.
At the wedding, her father gifted them an 8-bedroom house in THOME estate. In love, allegedly.
Three years in and his wife discovered her favourite weapon.
Every argument ends the same way: “Leave my father’s house.”
Because technically, that’s what it is.
The old man never handed over the title.
My cousin has been a tenant in his own marriage.
Three weeks ago, another argument.
She opened the door herself and told him to leave that night.
He packed one small bag. Said nothing. Walked out at 2am.
No calls. No drama. No coming back to “talk.” Three weeks of silence.
Yesterday she texted him: “When are you coming back home?”
A few minutes ago I took his phone and replied for him to her: “When I have my own house. For now, let me be.”
A man can sleep on a mattress on the floor of a bedsitter and sleep like a king.
But he cannot sleep peacefully in an 8-bedroom house where the door is opened for him every time there’s a disagreement.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is appealing to members of the public for information that may lead to the arrest of a suspect, whose photograph appears below, wanted in connection to the disappearance of a four-year-old child in Nakuru County.
The child was reported missing at Mwariki Police Station on June 11, 2026. As the family desperately searched for their child, the suspect is alleged to have compounded their anguish by attempting to negotiate a ransom.
Acting swiftly on intelligence leads, detectives from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit (AHTCPU), working jointly with the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) at DCI Headquarters and Officers from Mwariki Police Station, trailed the suspect to a plot in Quarry area of Rongai.
However, upon noticing the detectives closing in on him, the suspect fled into nearby slums and has since remained at large.
A search of the room where he had spent the night led to the recovery of a mobile phone, personal belongings, and a mother-and-child clinic booklet bearing the particulars of another minor from Nakuru County, raising more questions about the suspect’s activities.
Anyone with information that may assist in his arrest or help establish his whereabouts is urged to report to the nearest police station or anonymously through #FichuaKwaDCI. Call 0800 722 203 (Toll-free) or WhatsApp at 0709 570 000.

Yaani commercial activists and anarchists see protests everywhere and anywhere 2 or more people are gathered, unlike the biblical one where Christ was amidst them? This obsession is astounding.

Men,
When your family's lastborn is arrested for theft, violence or in a dingy drinking den,
Then you rush to bail him out,
Or,
He impregnates every girl in the village,
Then you send your mother money to bail him out,
You are teaching him that irresponsibility is rewarding.
When will you stop pampering a fool?
You also have a wife and children looking up to you for attention.
Let your chaotic lastborn suffer the consequences of being a mama's boy.
Step back and let the world teach him a lesson.
