Hey racists/anti-immigrants that are always crying “go back to your country,”
7 of the 9 goals in Canadian World Cup history has come from an immigrant/child of immigrants:
Alphonso Davies: Liberian (born in a refugee camp in Ghana)
Cyle Larin: Jamaican
Jonathan David: Haitian (born in Brooklyn)
William Saliba: Haitian-Lebanese
Sam Adekugbe (he did not score a goal, but forced an own goal vs Morocco back in 2022): Nigerian (born in London, UK)
If you’re enjoying this success Canada is having lately, a large part of it is because of immigration.
No need to hate.
We’re proud born & raised Canadians and we take great pride in representing our Punjabi/Bhangra culture on every wrestling platform we perform on.
85% of the crowd is non east-Indians.
Most fans tend to love it.
Hockey is life in Canada 🇨🇦 🏒❤️
The Toronto Raptors have a great future. Scottie Barnes is a top-15 player. Collin Murray-Boyles was a great pick and a stud.
Salute to them on a great season 🫡
35-year-old Jaswinder Singh, a serving soldier of the Border Security Force died in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau in Jammu. The postmortem report found that 34 blunt force injuries had been inflicted on him.
The most incriminating discoveries during the course of @jatinder_tur's investigation into Jaswinder’s death were the multiple medical reports and remand orders that extended his custody. Most of the remand orders were issued after a video call with the additional sessions judge. Each order repeated verbatim the contents of the one before it.
Jaswinder had been declared fit in nine medical reports, the last of which was issued on 18 March, less than forty-eight hours before his death, in which the medical officer at the government hospital in Jammu stated, “Accused is physically fit after clinical examination in my opinion.” The postmortem report raises concerns about the veracity of this order. It states that most of his injuries were antemortem, that is, before death, and were sustained within the previous four days.

A well-built man, over six feet tall, 35-year-old Jaswinder Singh was posted in Tripura with the 42 Battalion of the Border Security Force. On 3 March, he was on leave at home—in the border village of Diwangarh, around forty kilometres south-west of Jammu—when the Narcotics Control Bureau, an agency that comes under the union home ministry, picked him up. What followed was a seventeen-day ordeal that ended in his death.
Jaswinder’s family had no access to him during this time, other than a four-minute distress call that he was able to make from the NCB office in Jammu, ten days after he was detained. His wife, Lovejeet Kour, told me that he begged for help on this call, saying that he was facing unbearable torture at the hands of the narcotics officials. “My biggest fear used to be his safety on the border in Tripura, far from home. I feared him dying at the border,” she said. “But not like this—literally being frisked away while he was on leave and at home, and dying by torture in NCB custody.”

I grew up in Etobicoke in the 1980s and 1990s and lived there right up until I got married. All my childhood friends were Italian, Portuguese or Polish. Do you know what they did on A Saturday morning? The attended languages classes in our schools-where they learned Italian, Portuguese and Polish.
The real issue is their skin colour. So call it what it is.
A lot of jokes from King Charles tonight.
“You recently commented, Mr. President, that if it were not for the United States, European countries would be speaking German. Dare I say that if it wasn't for us, you'd be speaking French”

🚨PROJECT LIGHTHOUSE: Toronto Police (TPS) have arrested 3 Chinese Foreign nationals and laid 44 charges in a sophisticated cybercrime investigation.
According to police, the individuals used a mobile SMS blaster that mimics a legitimate cellular tower that targets mobile devices.
When activated, it causes nearby mobile phones to connect to it instead of a real network. Once connected, the device sends fraudulent text messages and can prevent users from contacting emergency services.
Arrested:
Dafeng Lin, 27
Junmin Shi, 25
Weitong Hu, 21
