Watching her son, Capt Kapil Kundu, #15JAKLI, grow from cradle to a fine soldier, Smt Sunita bears a pain of losing him in the line of duty. Hiding her emotions with fortitude, the brave mother paid homage to the Braveheart at #AmarJawanJyoti with pride and gratitude.
“The Last Date on the Stamp” revisits a time when letters carried news, hope, and connection. A postal stamp, a date seal and a childhood memory open a window into a world that is slowly disappearing. #ChildhoodMemories#IndiaPost#Letters#Nostalgia

18 Years ago this week, first India-China Joint Exercise Hand-in-Hand was held in Kunming. Only half a dozen of us journos were accompanying India's military delegation for the nearly week-long interaction. Spot some familiar faces in the photos (I was NDTV's Security & Strategic Affairs Editor, for those who may wonder). We flew in an IAF Il-76 from Guwahati to Kunming and back via Myanmarese airspace. Gentler years on the surface but the trust evaporated in less than five years. Don't miss the irony: India-China naming their joint exercise an anti-terror practice

Meet Agrima Kanwar (@agrimakanwar), an 18-year-old skeet shooter who has already emerged as one of the country's most promising young sports talents. She recently cemented her position at the top by winning a Silver Medal in Women’s Skeet Shooting at the 7th Khelo India Youth National Games 2025.
Agrima's outstanding performances earned her a place on the Indian contingent for the Shotgun World Cup held in Nicosia, Cyprus, in May 2025-marking her international debut.
Her shooting journey began in 2020 at the prestigious Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) in Mhow, where her raw potential was recognised and nurtured. Initially training in the 10m Air Pistol category, Agrima showed early promise, even participating in the National Championship. However, it was in 2022 that she discovered her true passion - Shotgun shooting, specifically Skeet. Since then, she has competed in three National-Level Championships, securing both Gold and Bronze Medals at National-Level Open Skeet Shooting events.
Known for her unwavering focus and discipline, Agrima expertly balances her academics alongside a demanding training schedule. Her journey is a testament to resilience and ambition — backed by the unwavering support of her parents and the extended #IndianArmy family.
Agrima has her eyes firmly set on a long-term dream: bringing home #Olympic gold in 2036.
Team #AWWA congratulates this rising star and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavours. May she keep inspiring the next generation to dream big, aim high and never give up!
