@LoneStarChica That is horrifying. @amazon needs to get sued. These unprofessional asshole drivers also show up in the middle of the night…they should probably pay attention to No Trespassing signs. Prayers for Sadie. Let us know if there’s a way to help.

🚨 8 YEAR OLD ARTIE IS STILL SITTING IN LANCASTER ACC AFTER WEEKS OF SHARES - URGENT
This sweet little 33 lb shepherd mix has been waiting so long. They even re estimated his age down to 5 but he is still on the list and needs out.
Artie is friendly and adorable. He just needs a foster for rescue or a home to call his own. He needs to be neutered before he can leave so time is running out.
If you can foster Artie in SoCal or know a rescue that can pull him reply I shared or I can help and tell/tag everyone please 😢

💔 Toby’s world has been turned upside down… again.
We first met Toby #V28985 when he was just a puppy. Adopted young, he spent years trying to manage painful skin allergies and infections with the help of his family. But when his care became too overwhelming, Toby was returned to us at eight years old.
Thankfully, he found a loving foster home through our Pet Sponsorship Program. For years, he was safe, comfortable, and deeply loved by someone who truly understood his needs.
But a few weeks ago, everything changed.
Due to a sudden medical emergency, the person who loved him so deeply could no longer care for him. And at 12 years old, Toby has found himself back in the shelter.
A senior dog who thought he was home… now sleeping in a kennel again.
Toby is struggling with the noise and chaos. He’s a gentle soul who just wants to be near the people he trusts. The shelter is no place for a dog who should be spending his golden years on a soft bed, in a quiet home, surrounded by love.
Through our Pet Sponsorship Program, Toby’s wellness and medical care for his skin ailments are already covered thanks to the generosity of our community. What he needs now is someone willing to give him the peace and stability he deserves.
Toby would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with children over 12 who can respect his boundaries. He has some anxiety and a history of mild resource guarding, but with patience and understanding, he forms deep bonds with the people he loves. He can also get along with other dogs, a meet-and-greet will help ensure the perfect match.
Toby has already lost the home he thought he’d spend forever in.
Please don’t let him spend the rest of his days in a shelter.
If you have room in your heart for a gentle senior who just wants to be close to his person, Toby is waiting. 🐾

I don’t believe there is enough time left to rally the kind of public awareness needed to #SaveAtlas.
We will try. But with the State Court of Appeals hearing on the 30th, time is not on his side.
And that is a hard thing to say.
But I do want to say this, to @CityofBedfordtx , @TarrantCountyTX , Dan Cogan, Mayor of Bedford, the Tarrant County Judge @TimothyOHare , Municipal Court Judge Timothy Murphy, Judge Jennifer Rymell, and the @BedfordTXPD :
Euthanasia should be the very LAST option when it comes to a family pet.
Not the first. Not the default. Not the outcome when there are still other paths available.
There are alternatives.
Secure containment.
Muzzle requirements.
Strict leash and control laws.
Behavioral training and rehabilitation.
Independent evaluations.
Liability insurance.
Transfer to qualified rescues or sanctuaries.
Court-ordered compliance measures.
These are real options. They are used every day. They protect the public without taking a life.
Once euthanasia is carried out, there is no appeal. No correction. No second chance.
No matter what happens next in this case, I hope those in positions of authority take a step back and ask:
Was every possible alternative truly considered?

These are all the animals that were put down by LA County last year. Meanwhile, the top people running animal services, rake in millions. They should be forced to testify in front of Congress and explain this systematic failure that has been going on for years.
BOCELLI did not get adopted over the weekend. 😢 She's in need of a #SoCal hero to get her out of Baldwin Park CA Mon 3-23. Adopt, Foster.
