لكن لم يتصل أحد.

ثم شاهد إعلانًا في صحيفة…
الاتحاد الإسباني يبحث عن مدرب للفئات السنية.
تقدّم للوظيفة، وقُبل.

ومنذ ذلك اليوم، لم يحاول البحث عن طريق مختصر، بل بنى مشروعًا كاملًا:

🏆 بطل أوروبا تحت 19 عامًا.
🏆 بطل أوروبا تحت 21 عامًا.
🥈 فضية الأولمبياد.
🏆 دوري الأمم الأوروبية.
🏆 بطل أوروبا.
🏆 واليوم… يقود إسبانيا إلى نهائي كأس العالم.

والأجمل أن معظم نجوم المنتخب الحالي، مثل يامال، بيدري، أويارزابال، فابيان رويز، كوكوريلا وأوناي سيمون، هم امتداد للمشروع الذي ساهم في بنائه عبر سنوات.

أحيانًا، أعظم المشاريع لا تبدأ بعقدٍ ضخم… بل بإعلان وظيفة في صفحة من جريدة. 👏🏻

The match is remembered for Ganguly removing his shirt on lord’s balcony.

Ganguly revealed it was in response to ex-England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff taking off his shirt and running at Wankhede Stadium after helping England tie six-match ODI series 3-3 on February 3, 2002

Ganguly - “I was standing on the right side. VVS Laxman was on my left and Harbhajan Singh was behind my back. So, as I was removing my T-shirt, VVS tried to tell me, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it!’ After I removed my shirt, Bhajji asked, ‘What do I do now?’ And I said, ‘Tu bhi khol de!’.”
