Let's get cracking!
Career Update:
Today was my last day at WordsWork Communications. After nearly 4 years of an amazing learning experience, I am ready for a new chapter.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this memorable journey and have been constant support over the years.
I like the signings Man Utd have made this summer but that does not change the fact this window lacked real ambition and we haven't done enough to close the gap on those above us.
Feel like Carrick deserved so much more from the board. Not signing a LB is criminal.
Rashford + 3 midfielders I like but big worries about defence. Feel like we go into every season with one big area missed in the transer window.
Elliot Anderson - one of the best midfielders in the Prem last season. £116m.
Ayyoub Bouaddi - one of the most exciting teenage midfield talents in Europe. £85m.
Enzo Fernández - established PL star, elite all-round midfielder entering his prime. World Cup winner. £120m.
Big-club mentality, unfortunately.
( & i'm not even mentioning Ndiaye )
Man City: Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Enzo Fernández. All of these players would cost over €100m — (€400m)
Manchester United: Andrey Santos, Tielemans, Carlos Baleba — €165m+.
Manchester United fans have been brainwashed into thinking INEOS are carrying out a midfield rebuild, and they’re just running with it. If I were you, I’d be concerned.
Every City player listed here would start ahead of anything we currently have in midfield. We went for the cheaper options, and the Hull City game showed exactly why.
Have some shame and stop pretending we’re doing a midfield rebuild when INEOS are clearly cost-cutting.
Comfortable win incoming for Hull. Worst game for Man United under Carrick. Too early for all doom and gloom, but all signs point towards another disappointing year for United fans.
Signing off.
If INEOS remain quiet in the summer window after this shambolic performance, it would be apt to stop praising them for preventing leaks and start questioning them for not giving Carrick the players he wanted.
Stellar cross inside the box and Man United have three players inside the box, but no one a genuine striker to connect with the ball and tap it in.
Maybe, should have been more active in summer window and bring in a cover for an injured and still young Sesko.
Absolutely disastrous start for Man Utd. That midfield has no rhythm without Casemiro.
Carrick will be blamed but INEOS really screwed him in the summer window.
Tuchel shutting shop was a masterclass in poor tactics against an attacking side like Argentina
Guess once again, it's not coming home. Can still go to mi casa though
