Two #Grammys eligibility issues we need to address:

New artist - if you're eligible one year, you shouldn't get to resubmit in the future just because you didn't win/get nominated. You might become a better artist in the future, but you can't become more "new."

Song awards - songs are now readily available at release. "Single" campaigns aren't really a thing anymore (especially post-album release singles). So eligibility should be defined by release date.
