On Thursday 13 March 1924 Myrtle Allen was born on Myrtle Hill, Cork. Through her life's work she would come to refine + redirect our relationship with food, ingredients + producers thereby setting character to modern Irish food culture. On her centenary we say thank you Myrtle.
Fantastic to see our graduates today wearing their #UCCAlumni badges with pride 🎓 We are delighted to see them become part of the alumni community and we look forward to staying connected and seeing what amazing things they achieve over the coming years

Partly as a celebration for #Scienceweek2022 & also in association with @UCCWellDev - today with many of our colleagues from around campus, we harvested produce from the Urban Farm. Everyone in great spirits as they went away with their hands full @uccBEES @eoinlettice @SDG2030
