yes. and there’s also a correlation between survival mode and not wanting to dress well, adorn yourself, do self care, do your hair, nourish yourself. you just don’t have energy to care about beauty and sensuality because your nervous system is busy keeping you safe.
many relationships are about circling around & avoiding a simple honest conversation:
“I want this”
“well I can’t give you that”
this exchange can be immensely painful for both parties, so it’s easier to live a falsehood: pretending you don’t want what you want, or pretending you can give something you can’t really give
as long as there’s an implicit contract to not have this conversation, the relationship can persist. but that precludes the possibility of a follow up exchange of “how about this instead” which might be the big unlock
another example of how a healthy relationship often requires a willingness to risk the relationship itself in the name of honesty
In the I Ching, the ages of 27 to 33 represent the hexagram "Bo" (Splitting Apart / 剥卦).
Your arrogance, unrealistic fantasies, and toxic entanglements are being ruthlessly "stripped away" layer by layer by reality. It hurts, and you feel like you have nothing. But Taoist wisdom promises: "When stripping away reaches its extreme, return begins" (剥极必复).
Only when the fake "Ego" is stripped bare will the most authentic, resilient "first spark of true Yang" (your core life force) emerge.
Don't fear the losses of these years. Reality isn't destroying you; it's simply "removing your makeup." Being humbled isn't submission; it's returning to your original, uncarved nature after the glitter fades.
At 16, that pure joy comes from your "Original Spirit" (元神) being fully active, untainted by societal conditioning. By 28, the heavy "turbid Qi" (浊气) of survival, stress, and rigid expectations takes over, causing your vital energy to leak and your spirit to go numb.
Those 70-year-olds starting a business or learning the violin are the true masters. They have achieved "Returning to the Uncarved Block" (返璞归真). They haven't just kept a "young mindset"—they have successfully guarded their "Shen" (Spirit) from being extinguished by the mundane world. That is the highest form of energetic cultivation.
I fear this warning is too late but no one should be altering their hair this week bc of the Mercury-Saturn square. I’ve had multiple friends tell me of hair “disasters” and I had a hair oops yesterday
When I mention acupuncture/TCM to other Chinese ppl most times they talk about how it’s helped them or what they use it for. When I mention acupuncture/TCM to other more westernized ppl most have mentioned how it’s helped them and how much they “believe in it”
What does it mean for a field like TCM to flourish in the west? These are not the tools that built the masters house, no sir. No one knows what to do with them then😂many cannot comprehend how medicine can also be art
Ppl do be asking why you not in a relationship like it’s a drivers license or something ..man you know how many things have to align for a relationship to happen lol
Although you’re extremely attractive and I’d love to have sex I don’t think we’re soulmates and it would thus be irresponsible for me to entangle our spirits. Hope you understand
