NZ VACCINATION INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR PATIENT COMPLIANCE IN PLACE OF INFORMED CONSENT...
In 2021 the NZ Immunization Advisory Centre, published the following advice for doctors, showing them how best to take "vaccine hesitant" across the line.
It's interesting to understand the techniques employed...the document is a textbook example of behavioural ENGINEERING. It is designed to bypass critical thinking on the part of the patient; and neutralise hesitation through psychological manipulation.
1. "Default Bias" and Presumptive Language
By framing the patient as already willing—or merely waiting for "reassurance"—the practitioner sets the psychological baseline at compliance. This creates a subtle social pressure where the patient must actively exert effort to dissent, rather than the doctor neutrally presenting the choice.
2. Emotional Priming Over Rational Inquiry
Tip 4 (Lead with values before evidence) is the most BLATANT attempt to circumvent the RATIONAL brain. Behavioral psychology recognizes that when individuals are primed with emotional or "values-centric" stimuli, their capacity for critical analysis of factual data is significantly diminished. By prioritizing "care and love" over data on safety and risks, the strategy ensures the patient is in an emotionally receptive state, making them less likely to interrogate inconvenient information.
3. Strategic Obfuscation
Tip 5 (Use plain language and effective metaphors) is framed as "deepening understanding," but it functions as cognitive simplification. By reducing complex biological processes to reductive, inaccurate metaphors (e.g., "powering up" the immune system), the strategy prevents the patient from accessing the technical nuance required for true informed consent. It replaces facts with comforting, simplistic imagery.
4. The Illusion of Agency (The "Ask-Tell-Ask" Technique)
Tip 3 (Ask-Tell-Ask) is a sophisticated form of COERCIVE LISTENING. It mimics the appearance of a democratic, patient-centered conversation, but its function is to gather intelligence on a patient’s specific objections so the practitioner can tailor a rebuttal.
The "Tell" phase is particularly revealing: it instructs the doctor to "focus on the positives" and explicitly tells them to dismiss concerns that don't fit the desired narrative.
THIS IS NOT ACTIVE LISTENING, IT IS ACTIVE MANAGEMENT
5. Social Proof and Authority
Tip 2 (Act of trust) leverages the authority heuristic. Because patients naturally defer to health professionals, this advice instructs doctors to WEAPONIZE THAT POWER DYNAMIC.
The ENTIRE document has the goal of
COMPLIANCE, NOT CONSENT
The Final Push: Tip 6 (Emphatically recommend) ensures the doctor uses their position of power to exert the final, decisive influence, ensuring the "conversation" concludes with the desired outcome regardless of the patient's underlying concerns.
On Saturday, Andrea Vance at The Post ran a big story pushing Labour's claim that National isn't hiring nurses. What she didn't tell her readers is that the facts and figures she had before she published said the exact opposite.
So here are the numbers The Post had in its hands and decided readers were better off not seeing.
When Labour left office, there were 2,632 nursing vacancies. Just two years later under National, there were 1,344. That is 1,288 fewer empty positions, a reduction of nearly 50%.
The nurse workforce has grown from 31,739 to 35,342. More nurses are on the wards, fewer are walking out the door, and there is no hiring freeze.
And the party shouting loudest about it today – the Labour Party – is the very party that owned every one of those worse numbers. They left the vacancy problem nearly twice as bad as it is now, and here they are calling the clean-up a scandal. You could not make it up.
Then there is Labour's favourite line of the whole story, that the Government "saved" $200 million by deliberately leaving health jobs empty. It sounds shocking, until you find out what that money actually was.
It was money already set aside to pay nurses and doctors the moment their new pay deals were signed. The deals had not been signed, so the money had not gone out the door. It was not saved and it was not pocketed. It was sitting there waiting to be paid, exactly as planned.
Calling that a "saving" is like pocketing an unpaid invoice. The money is committed, it just hasn't left the account yet.
We spelled all of this out for Andrea Vance before she published. She published Labour's disinformation anyway.
Then look at what Andrea Vance reported. Labour's framing led the story, right there in the headline where every reader's eye lands. The figures showing things are better under National, the ones handed over in writing, were left out altogether.
That cannot have been an accident. That was a choice.
Let me be clear about one thing. There are still vacancies to fill, and we even pointed Andrea Vance to my Letter of Expectations directing Health New Zealand to move faster to fill them. But leaving out the improvement and telling readers things are going backwards is not balanced reporting. It is the version Labour is selling, and The Post chose to run it.
New Zealanders deserve to know the healthcare system is improving. What they do not deserve is a scare story the facts do not support. Facts The Post had in front of it the whole time.
🗣️ Marc Cucurella: The World Cup final completely changed my opinion of Leo Messi.
From my perspective, he looked frustrated and desperate to win. After I simply asked him, as captain, to calm his teammates because I felt they were becoming too aggressive, I believe he portrayed our exchange to the referee as something it wasn’t. I never made any racist remark, and the whole incident left me deeply disappointed.
That moment made me question the fairness of what happened. To me, honesty and integrity matter just as much as winning. If I feel someone has misrepresented my words, it’s difficult for me to trust or respect them in the same way again.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been my idol since childhood, and my respect for him has never changed. I admire his dedication, discipline, and mentality. In my opinion, he has built his legacy through hard work, perseverance, and merit. That’s why he will always be my greatest football inspiration.

Some quotes below 👇
"Ideology is the enemy of common sense. If you’ve substituted ideology for evidence and experience, you haven’t become a thinking person—you’ve become a religious fanatic."
"We’ve become dominated by big government, big business, and big media. The political system has largely run for their benefit, against the interests of the common man and woman."
"I’ve watched the mainstream media of this country decide that the facts need to fit the ideology rather than just simply report what the facts are"
"We are a party of free speech. We are a party of free thought. We are a party of freedom of expression"
Post and repost this, over and over again:
Winston Peters
@winstonpeters
Four years ago in 2022, a full year before the last election, we ruled out working with the Labour Party. We did that because the left are full of woke self confessed communists who would turn our country into a basket case. Nothing has changed. In fact they are even worse. No, we won’t do a deal with Labour or their Marxist and separatist mates. It is astounding the amount of time this has been spent living rent free in some people’s heads - including media who keep asking the same stupid question that I have already answered multiple times. Anyone who says anything otherwise is ‘mischief making’ and ‘scaremongering’ who need to start focussing on things that kiwis care about most instead of personal petty rekons.
@aniobrien@dpfdpf Many teachers I know have left the union in the last five years as the PPTA is narrowly focused on socialism, the control of free speech and are spending subs on anything but teacher pay and conditions. They look more like a leftist political party than a workers' union.
Winston was right again.
Modhi today in Auckland reconfirms that the deal is conditional on NZ sending billions to India.
“I warmly welcome NZ’s commitment to invest 20 Billion USD (NZ$33B) into India, which allows NZ to be part of the India growth story” to which Luxon nods along like a nodding bobble head in a cars rear window.
One news showed Luxon at a presser denying that Modhi meant we had to pay it.
Meanwhile this below is on the Hindu front page in india - one of the largest newspapers in that country :
“PM Modhi welcomes $20 Billion NZ investment”
CULTURE MATTERS!
Clips of thousands of Norwegians after the football match, 'rowing' while a drum beats. Like on a Viking ship. I've seen clips like these over the past few days and they've moved me. I've cried over them. Real tears.
Not because Norway beat Brazil. But because what I see in those clips is everything we've forgotten in Europe. Where we come from. Our culture. Holding on to who we are and standing up for it.
It moves me because we've forgotten our tribe. Standing together. And that has meant we've allowed other 'tribes' - who share neither our view of life nor our values, and who don't appreciate our culture - to take up space, even though they aren't compatible with Europe and the Western world.
I cry and I grieve, because it becomes so clear that we need to come home.
Thank you to the Norwegians for making this visible by doing something as simple as gathering around what is theirs. Without apology. Tens of thousands of people rowing in rhythm to a single drum - as the Vikings they are. As the Vikings we all are, we who come from the North. This is what a people looks like when they still remember who they are.
Maybe I cry because I recognize something I thought was lost. It isn't. It's just waiting for us to come home.
The drum is still beating. The question is whether the rest of Europe can hear it.
😵💫Te Gimp is putting the hammer down on his quest to make us a third world shit hole country.
This morning he has announced somewhere more disaster FTA’s to be delivered in the next 3 years if he is PM.
including - NIGERIA - and BANGLADESH.
As soon as the media asked about India’s migration clauses, Te Gimp steps away from the Mic and Mclay confirms that National are now working on a NEW VISA for India - Just as WP said.
McClay then strenuously confirmed that NZ will honour ALL THE FTA’s obligations including the $33 BN in Investment to India, and of course biomass.
