@Keir_Starmer why have you imposed Luke Akehurst as the Labour candidate for North Durham, going against your statement in 2020 that candidates would be elected locally?

“Comorbidities such as fatigue, depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance, and post-traumatic stress did not account for the extent of cognitive slowing in patients with #LongCovid.”
A patient with #LongCovid has tested positive for Raoultella planticola - a rare opportunistic bacteria. They are *not* on immunosuppressants.
They're looking for recs for a provider who knows how to handle this - ideally in upstate NY area, open to NYC or Albany too. Please RT!
Clinical update: Masks - Recently we re-introduced mask wearing for everyone in clinical areas. We are pleased to say that we have had no outbreaks during this time and sickness and respiratory illness rates have now dropped significantly…
Well, we draw near to the end of the year in which the British Heart Foundation said that Covid infections were causing a tsunami of heart attacks and had already caused over 100,000 cardiac deaths, and everyone in the country shrugged and went back to trying to catch their next infection to make themselves sicker to make themselves well.

There are 7 human coronaviruses (so far).
Four of them cause the "common cold" (229E, NL63, OC43, HKU1).
The three most recent are deadly (SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2).
All three of the deadly ones use the ACE2 receptor. Only one of the common cold viruses (NL63) does.

@sublickreds@gezmedinger@DrTinaPeers In the end I wandered if I should've persevered with it daily, as I wasn't sure if it had done all it's clearing out. I would certainly try it again if there is any chance I still have something it could clear from my system.
@sublickreds@gezmedinger@DrTinaPeers I don't know if you want info from another source, but just in case I'm posting😉.
I took ivm hesitantly after Gez's book. As soon as I got a very mild skin rash, I paused til it cleared and then started again. I ended up taking alternate days to stop the blotches increasing.
For most people, getting Covid was a disruption that passed. But for the millions who developed #LongCovid, that disruption has been persistent – for years.
After 32 months of living with this complex chronic illness, here are some reflections...🧵
