Data centers can, and often do, have a positive impact on communities. The success stories fly under the radar. That's why we're highlighting new ones weekly.
@jessesingal Where does it say we deported a guy who helped us in the war?
The deportee is a family member of someone who helped. Who was in the US illegally. And he was not deported back to Afghanistan, but rather to CAR.
@dieworkwear You have no idea what you're talking about. My family lost EVERYTHING in the LA Riots when arsonists burned down much of DTLA. Rooftop Koreans were defending life and liberty, on behalf of themselves as well as their vulnerable neighbors.
@noor_siddiqui_@OrchidInc This is not prevention of illness. This is selectively discarding (killing) embryos with "inferior" genetics.
This is further evidence of the slippery slope that IVF can create.

@paddycosgrave This is typical of many people in tech... Speaking with extreme over-confidence, to the point of hubris, on things you do not understand.
(I say this as a CEO in tech who has dunning-kruger pinned to my home screen as a reminder.)
@yrechtman I 10000% believe in using software to create efficiencies in real asset businesses and improving margins.
I am super skeptical of achieving venture scale returns by buying real estate companies and applying software.
If the investors are not expecting VC returns - all good!
@sonyasupposedly Mom of 4 kids here - the suckling reflex is quite strong through about 3 months, I would not worry about "nipple confusion" until then. Comotomo bottles are quite close to what the "real thing" feels like.
@PeteTanski@abacaj My understanding is that they fine-tune on the 4.8M papers and then do LoRA (or full fine-tuning) to adapt to the specific test cases (PubMedQA, MedMCQA, USMLE).
