@kimmonismus A better question would be, what OpenAI and Meta plan to do with our data, that X is not doing... Cause functionality wise I don't see what muse/dots do that grok bot is incapable of.
@thsottiaux Cause with Opus there comes Fable 5, which at the moment is simply a much smarter model than 5.6-sol.
5.6 is awesome for all kind things where luna can be used.
@chenjingtalk What bothers me even more is that 5.6-sol is always ranked as very efficient and "cheap", while on daily bigger coding tasks it's the biggest token burner of them all.
Tesla has been working hard toward shipping Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Europe for over 12 months now. We have given FSD demos to regulators of almost every EU country. We have requested early access, pilot release programs or exemptions where possible.
We have developed & shared detailed safety evidence for FSD, now public in our latest Safety Report. And we have driven over 1 million kilometers safely on EU roads across 17 different countries (internal testing).
Our main path to success is partnering with the Dutch approval authority RDW to gain exemption for the feature. This involves proving compliance with existing regulations (UN-R-171 DCAS) + filing an exemption (EU Article 39) for yet-to-be-regulated behaviors like Level 2 systems off-highway, system-initiated lane changes with hands-off the wheel etc.
Some of these regulations are outdated and rules-based, which makes FSD illegal in its current form. Changing FSD to be compliant with these rules would make it unsafe and unusable in many cases. While we have changed FSD to be maximally compliant where it is logical and reasonable, we won't sacrifice the safety of a proven system or materially deteriorate customer usability.
As a result, we are gathering evidence to get exemptions on a specific rule-by-rule basis. Unfortunately, the real world fleet-proven safety wins alone are considered insufficient.
Currently, RDW has committed to granting Netherlands National approval in February 2026. Please contact them via link below to express your excitement & thank them for making this happen as soon as possible. Upon NL National approval, other EU countries can immediately recognize the exemption and also allow rollout within their country. Then we will bring it to a TCMV vote for official EU-wide approval.
We're excited to bring FSD to our owners in Europe soon!

The utter irony of Putin and Trump meeting soon in Budapest to jointly seal Ukraine’s fate should not be lost on anybody. This is the very same city where the US, the UK, and Russia came together 31 years ago to give Ukraine ironclad assurances that its territorial integrity would be respected and protected within existing borders in exchange for giving up a third of the world’s nuclear weapons (to Russia!). Ukraine trusted the US, trusted the UK, transferred all its nuclear weapons to Russia, and joined the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Within 20 years, Putin effectively ripped up the Budapest Memorandum, ignored Russia’s pledge, and invaded and annexed Crimea. In 2022, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine finally removed all remaining doubts about Putin’s imperial greed.
If treaties and agreements between countries are to be trusted, the US and the UK must stand by the original Budapest Memorandum and give the Ukrainians everything they need to push Russia out of Ukraine, as President Trump said he would do before taking Putin’s latest call. It is the only way for Ukraine to get its territory back and put an end to this brutal invasion.
If the US and Russia continue to ignore the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, how on Earth can Ukraine be expected to have any faith in yet another Budapest memorandum signed in the same city between Russia and the United States? They can’t.
@satyanadella How can you guys come up with such bad naming? Everybody in tech is associating Copilot with Github Copilot. This will just lead to confusion in the future when somebody says "I'm using Copilot".
Such a big company and sometimes such miserable decisions really leaves me clueless.
If Google didn't publish the Transformer paper, the history of AI (and possibly humanity) would be set back many years. Everyone would've been worse off.
Open research is a powerful strategy. It pains me to see an emerging trend of not only closing models, but also refusing to publish. It's like a virus silently spreading across many institutes.
This is a negative-sum game. Everyone loses in the long run.
@DFIblock1430640 @phigo90@mkuegi 100% agree. We are doing exactly what we wanted to avoid at the beginning of burn bot discussions! Everybody was afraid of DFI sell-pressure, which was countered by the argument that we only swap and burn, therefore no real sell-pressure on DFI. With NI this got turned around!
@DFIblock1430640 @TSoltzer That's the point. DFIP-2211-D is the big initial! step. But we then need DFIP-2211-B to continuously burn the remaining delta of backed/unbacked.
It's not game over if B doesn't get approved right away bc we theoretically have 12 months for the burn, but the quicker the better!
@jange35553567@julianhosp They did? I would rather argue the gap got even bigger, especially when it comes to production and organization optimisations which leads again to eye watering gross margins. And they are still moving forward at a crazy pace in hard- and software development.
