@BecomingCaptain I think the total monetary value of games will increase, it's getting cheaper to produce along with supply & quality increase. However the median earning per gamedev will drop. Just like with writers, artists, a small % of creators capture essentially all market value.
@Freya_Games I am currently working on a turn-based tactical roguelike, you are an AI assembling a fleet, battling across the galaxy where chesslike positioning meets roguelike progression. Currently in closed playtesting, aiming to get an open demo on Steam soon!

@dyrkabes Yeah for sure, working with AI sometimes feel very stochastic, it can occasionally just forget rules and instructions. I guess better workflows and better models negate it but might never fully go away.
@thomasmahler This is a pattern I see showing up in day-to-day work too. Business, society in general is becoming more data-driven, focused on metrics, KPI:s. I have teached classes in Business Intelligence and I think every facet of human life we apes can simplify, we do. Sometimes wrongly.

@dyrkabes "Review the documentation you touched and see if any changes need to be made"
"Review the currently implemented changes. Do we risk running into any errors, regressions or unwanted behaviors?"
"Keep the implementation modular, scaleable and still KISS"
@Chavenham Well it seem to play a bit like your game but with ugly ass graphics. Wishlisting is slow / non-existential. Probably due to a combination of looks and low markering efforts. Median demo game time sitting around 1 hour.
