If the USA Women’s Hockey team wants a real celebration and invite ,,, I’ll host them in Las Vegas. Do some nice dinners and shows and good times. I’m sure I can get a hotel and airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real for real.
NEW: Your taxes subsidize Amazon and Walmart poverty wages.
These are trillion dollar companies, but 33% of Amazon workers need public assistance and 25% of Walmart workers need SNAP to survive.
We investigated how corporations are taking advantage of workers—and all of us.
I read the Trump-backed voter suppression bill, the so-called “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Here’s my summary. Please tell your Senators to vote NO on this abomination: 202-224-3121. TY. 1/
Gisele Pelicot, whose husband drugged her and allowed different men to rape her over the course of 10 years, is holding a public trial and allowing her name to be published, even though she didn't have to.
Her husband wished for a private trial, which would have allowed their names to remain anonymous, but she wanted to shame the men who have raped her and hold them responsible publicly for what they've done.
She told the court that she hopes her testimony might help spare other women from similar ordeals. She said she pushed for the trial in open court in solidarity with other women who go unrecognized as victims of sexual crimes.
Her strength is so unbelievable.
Introverts are so selective. Either they like you or they don't. There's no middle term. They don't act fake. They don't fool around. Plus they have absolutely no interest in impressing you. No forcing, only vibing. If it flows, it flows. And trust me, when they do, you'll know.
Introverts don't hate socializing, they just love being alone at home. In their own space. Cozy. Comfortable. Not surrounded by people. Not bothered by anything. Chilling & vibing. They haven't gone anywhere. They're just doing their own thing. Leave them alone.
It’s time for an important college athletics thread::
ATHLETIC TRAINERS: Coaching friends, we all know a good AT can be, at times, more beneficial than anyone else on staff!
I’m hearing more and more from S&C coaches, sports medicine members and other “support staffs” thinking about stepping away from the profession.
Why?
Mistreatment and disrespect from those they “support” and being unable to afford rent and food.
A mental break from the sport is a huge benefit to a day off
Wanting no athletic responsibility for a day does not mean they aren't committed
You enjoy your weekends too right?
