Nur El-Huda Chehade, a 25-year-old German TikTok influencer who spent 17 years wearing the hijab, says she has received death threats after deciding to stop wearing it.

Known for creating content about Islam, the Quran, women's rights, and anti-Muslim discrimination for young Muslim women, Chehade said she removed the hijab in early May because she "didn't feel it anymore."

She described feeling anxious the first time she went outside without it but says she has not regretted the decision. After announcing the change online, she faced a wave of abuse and death threats.

This is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, which supplies fuel, including for the army.

It is more than 2,000 km from the border with Ukraine.

The Omsk oil refinery is considered a key enterprise for supplying fuel to Siberia and a significant part of Russia.

I går afholdt TV2 ét minuts stilhed inden kampen til ære for den afdøde svensker på Islands Brygge.

Mindehøjtideligheden blev sendt live på TV.

Efter blot omkring 30 sekunder gik TV2 til reklamer.

Det skete umiddelbart efter, at kameraet havde vist 4-5 hijabklædte kvinder, som ikke havde rejst sig under mindehøjtideligheden.

Senere lagde TV2 en redigeret udgave af mindehøjtideligheden ud på sociale medier. I den version er netop denne sekvens klippet ud.

Det synes jeg er underligt.

An American veteran is dying in an Indian prison.

Matthew VanDyke (@Matt_VanDyke)—founder of SOLI, who fought for freedom in Libya and Syria and supported Ukraine—has been on a hunger strike for 54 days in India's Tihar Prison.

He was arrested in March alongside six Ukrainians on charges of terrorism and drone-related offenses.

He suffered a leg injury in custody and has been denied proper medical care, medication, and contact with his family since mid-March.

It appears India is acting on russian allegations. A man who fought against dictatorships and stood with Ukraine is now behind bars.

This is not justice. It is political persecution.
