Finland continues to face criticism for withdrawing from the Ottawa Treaty, the international landmine treaty.
To the critics: you’re not the ones sharing a 1,340 km border with Mordor.
Only in Russia could such a moral monster still be president the next day...
2014. Putin openly mocks a man—and the entire village—over the lack of roads.
"Why do you even need a car if there are no roads? Where are you driving?" Putin asks, unable to hold back his laughter.
Nur El-Huda Chehade, a 25-year-old German TikTok influencer who spent 17 years wearing the hijab, says she has received death threats after deciding to stop wearing it.
Known for creating content about Islam, the Quran, women's rights, and anti-Muslim discrimination for young Muslim women, Chehade said she removed the hijab in early May because she "didn't feel it anymore."
She described feeling anxious the first time she went outside without it but says she has not regretted the decision. After announcing the change online, she faced a wave of abuse and death threats.
Todella hyviä merkkejä taloudessa! Tilastokeskuksen mukaan teollisuuden tilausten arvo oli toukokuussa 5,8% parempi kuin edellisenä vuonna. Paperissa +10, Metallissa ja kemiassa + 5! #teollisuus#talous#tilaukset
Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan, Ufa in Bashkortostan and Saratov, three Russian refineries have been struck in the last 24h alone and are burning.
It is undeniable at this point that Russia is completely losing the drone war. Russian refineries are falling like flies.
At least i know where to find everyone for the mobilisation, they're queuing for fuel. The problem is, cos there's no fuel, they're immobilised.
I remain a master strategist.
⚡️ It has happened! Drones have finally attacked the Omsk oil refinery, which had remained untouched all this time
This is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, which supplies fuel, including for the army.
It is more than 2,000 km from the border with Ukraine.
The Omsk oil refinery is considered a key enterprise for supplying fuel to Siberia and a significant part of Russia.
Russians are starting to realize the huge costs Putin spends on war instead of improving the lives of Russians:
Putin decided to invest 25 trillion rubles not into developing his own country but to occupy a foreign one.
Someday, historians will count not only the trillions spent, but also the cost of missed opportunities, the future that Russia might have had but never happened.
Thank you Putin for that.
Putin and Trump had a 90-minute phone call ahead of the NATO meeting in Ankara.
It's safe to say Ukraine shouldn't expect much support from the US after the summit.
"We f*cking produce this oil ourselves! How the f*ck can there be no gasoline?! Putin said there's gasoline!!!"
A Moscow resident is outraged by the fuel shortage in one of the world's largest oil-exporting countries.
"Useita kuollut, yli 50 haavoittunut ja kerrostalo romahtanut Venäjän suuressa iskussa."
Venäjä jatkaa siviilien tarkoituksellista tappamista. Yli 16.000 ukrainalaista siviiliä on jo tapettu YKn mukaan ja mukana ei ole edes tuhansia Mariupolissa tapettuja.

Once again, the Russians have tried to use their strikes to murder civilians and scare Ukrainians into submission.
This isn't going to solve their fuel crisis, and it shows how desperate and out of ideas they are.
You're not going to win this, Putin. We will not surrender. 🇺🇦
A European capital is on fire because Russia spent the night firing missiles at civilians in their beds.
Kyiv is full of smoke. People are buried under rubble.
This is terrorism.
An American veteran is dying in an Indian prison.
Matthew VanDyke (@Matt_VanDyke)—founder of SOLI, who fought for freedom in Libya and Syria and supported Ukraine—has been on a hunger strike for 54 days in India's Tihar Prison.
He was arrested in March alongside six Ukrainians on charges of terrorism and drone-related offenses.
He suffered a leg injury in custody and has been denied proper medical care, medication, and contact with his family since mid-March.
It appears India is acting on russian allegations. A man who fought against dictatorships and stood with Ukraine is now behind bars.
This is not justice. It is political persecution.
If you're American, this cannot be ignored. Raise your voice. Contact your elected officials. Demand action from the U.S. government.
