From 27–31 October 2025, RBC and partners are conducting a Field Simulation Exercise on Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak response.
The exercise aims to assess and strengthen Rwanda’s capacity to prepare for, detect, and respond to EVD and other infectious disease outbreaks.
It focuses on enhancing coordination and response mechanisms at Points of Entry (PoEs) and across health facilities, ensuring healthcare providers are well-equipped with the knowledge, tools, and systems needed for rapid and effective action.

Rwanda’s Health Minister @nsanzimanasabin joined a Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation ministerial panel on strengthening country-led health data systems—key to improving outcomes for women and girls.
He also met with the Pandemic Fund Secretariat, as Co-Chair, to champion investment in workforce training, lab capacity, and a coordinated One Health approach to pandemic preparedness.
