@ElliottVenczel The explanations for it are strawmen all the way down. Has nothing to do with boosting (the aoe cap + grouping with 60s fixes that), social pillar (most people solo quest), or the world feeling alive (world you see will have the same number of players due to layers).
@Zirene But like you guys are aware that vanilla pvp beyond bwl was a complete slopfest right? or do we need rediscover why resilience was invented from first principles?
@NateSilver538 Nah you're missing that it's always been about whether it's hype relative to market cap, which implies it's the greatest thing in the history of capitalism by far.
@AggrendWoW What the dev teams philosophy is on camping buffs in raids and on hybrid vs pure class balance. Would be nice to get clarity before everyone picks their main.
@DominicJPino Lmao a literacy score that "tracks state policy adoption across 18 fundamental principle" instead of, you know, being a measure of literacy. What does that say about your literacy?
@cafreiman Nah it's mostly just prisoner's dilemma. Everyone wants this to exist, while having the option to personally buy 20% cheaper on certain products.
@Pat_Thorman Only true if you play in so many leagues that any injury just hits your ownership rate. In a single redraft league the winner is almost always the guy who just didn't get injuries and got maybe one mid rate hit.
@citrini I think no one has ever claimed it won't have an impact. People have an issue with the over hype bordering on outright lies and the valuation that requires it to be the greatest opportunity in the history of capitalism
@daengbo@cafreiman How does the crux of the issue change? If anything it's worse because at least charters have to take anyone equally while voucher schools can refuse to take expensive needs students while pretending it's a apples to apples to public.
