The theme of the panel discussion – “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” reflects the realities of today’s geopolitical landscape.

In an era defined by geopolitical tensions, shifting balances of power, rising trade barriers, and mounting pressure on multilateralism, it is essential to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities while strengthening mechanisms capable of sustaining international stability and cooperation.

Alongside the President of Kazakhstan, the panel features President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

The discussion is moderated by Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, former Foreign Minister and Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Türkiye.

🇰🇿 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomes the achievement of an agreement on a full ceasefire and truce in the #MiddleEast, reached with the mediation of Prime Minister of #Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif (@CMShehbaz) and Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir.

This agreement became possible due to the goodwill and wisdom of the President of the United States, Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump ), and the senior leadership of #Iran, as well as all countries involved in the military conflict.

President @TokayevKZ expressed hope that the truce agreement will be long-lasting and will contribute to the development of global trade and the economic prosperity of all nations.

🇰🇿🇺🇸 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received a letter from President of the United States Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump).

The American leader expressed appreciation for his meeting with the President of Kazakhstan held on the sidelines of the inaugural meeting of the @BoardOfPeace in #Washington in February.

The President of the United States noted that he looks forward to welcoming the President of #Kazakhstan again at the next meeting of the Board of Peace, as well as at the upcoming #G20 Summit to be held in Miami later this year.

At the #NationalReferendum on the draft of a new #Constitution of the Republic of #Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev answered a question from Bojan Brkic, Astana Bureau Chief of @Euronews.

“You have said many times that Kazakhstan is positioning itself as a middle power on the international stage. Your country joined the Board of Peace launched by US President Donald Trump. What do you think is the future of this initiative in the context of current events in the Middle East? Is it still viable or not? Why did you decide to join it in the first place?”

⚡️President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev:

“First of all, I have huge respect for the President of the United States. His strategy of common sense is a very good strategy which needs to be supported. It deserves to be supported. Speaking about the #BoardOfPeace, I was attracted to this idea by its innovative approach to tackling the most complex issues of the international community. First of all, it is a mixture or a combination of traditional diplomacy and big business which will benefit ordinary people, particularly in the #GazaStrip. So I think that this idea needs to be supported, and that is why we made the decision to join the Board of Peace. You know that people around the world got tired of endless conferences with wishful-thinking resolutions that very few people read, as a matter of fact. That is why I said that we need and we should support this idea, because it is a very new one. President Trump (@realDonaldTrump), as a human being, is a very good man. He is very brave. He is a leader. And I think that the prospect of peace in the #MiddleEast, and particularly in #Palestine, still exists. And I believe that the future of this idea, of this initiative – at least I would like to hope so – is very bright. And as far as Kazakhstan is concerned, of course, we will continue to support this initiative.”
