Today, 🇰🇿 celebrates the first National Day of the Kazakh Tazy and Tobet - two iconic breeds that have accompanied our people across the Great Steppe for centuries.

#TheTazy, one of the seven treasures of Kazakh tradition, embodies agility, strength and loyalty, while the Tobet has long served as a trusted guardian. In 2024, Kazakhstan was officially recognized as the country of origin of the Tazy.

President @TokayevKZ places particular emphasis on safeguarding and promoting Kazakhstan’s national breeds. Their protection means preserving a living connection to our history, traditions and respect for nature.

The Tazy and Tobet are more than national breeds, they are a living legacy of the #GreatSteppe that Kazakhstan is proud to protect and share with the world.

🇰🇿🇺🇸 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Held an Extended Telephone Conversation with the President of the United States Donald Trump

The discussion featured a substantive exchange of views on the bilateral agenda and key international issues, including the situation in #Ukraine.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed his commitment to the full and timely implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to #Washington, D.C., in November this year.

He noted the complexity of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, emphasizing that territorial issue remain central and requires compromises from all sides, taking into account the real situation on the ground.

Therefore, #Kazakhstan calls on all parties involved to demonstrate patience, flexibility, and professionalism, and to continue pursuing a peace formula. At the same time, Kazakhstan does not seek to act as a mediator but remains ready, if necessary, to offer a venue for negotiations in a spirit of goodwill.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the outstanding leadership skills of the American President, which allowed him to resolve a number of international military conflicts and achieve positive results in strengthening the domestic potential of the United States.

Concluding the conversation, President Tokayev invited Donald Trump to visit Kazakhstan at his convenience and expressed confidence that such a visit would be of historic significance.

President @TokayevKZ has signed a law granting #Turkistan a special status, strengthening its role as a spiritual and cultural center. This law safeguards the historical heritage of the Khodja Ahmed Yassawi Mausoleum, ensuring its preservation as a @UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explaining the move, the President said: “Turkistan is a cradle of the Kazakh nation, while Khodja Ahmed Yassawi mausoleum is one of its sacred legacies. By preserving its uniqueness as a #UNESCO site, Kazakhstan will also contribute to the preservation of an important part of global culture and history.
