Hey @Cubs...your scoreboard message saying the Japanese born blayer with the most games as a Cub is Fukidome was wrong. Fukudome played 513 games. Seiya has played 591.
The NHL Alumni Association is deeply saddened to learn that Dennis Hull has passed away at the age of 81.
From Point Anne, Ontario, Dennis played junior hockey in St. Catharine’s from 1960 to 1964, before making the jump to the NHL with the Chicago Black Hawks.
Dennis made his NHL debut on October 14, 1964, and scored his first NHL goal just two months later on December 19, 1964. In his fifth NHL season, Dennis was selected to play in the 1969 NHL All-Star Game, and would play in the All-Star Game four more times consecutively from 1971-74.
Dennis played 904 regular-season games over the course of 13 seasons with Chicago from 1964 to 1977, before playing his 14th and final NHL season with the Detroit Red Wings.
Internationally, Dennis represented Canada at the 1972 Summit Series, registering 2 goals and 4 points in 4 games.
After retiring from professional hockey, Dennis returned to St. Catharine’s, enrolled at Brock University, earned a degree in education, and later became a teacher and an athletic director.
We send our deepest condolences to Dennis’ family, friends, and former teammates during this difficult time.
Hey @JimDeshaies ...Seiya show get the player of the game for just getting hit in the "sensative" area plus falling down the dugout steps and having a great day at the plate
I’ll give away 10 of these shirts to 10 lucky winners who are following @obvious_Shirts and repost this. Winners will be chosen on Friday. #Cubs#NoWaveAtWrigley
@icy464 Nah...It's Pritzker who wants to be the Senator (as a stepping stone to the Presidency) and Stratton wants to be Governor when he does go for the Senate. JB has been holding back any announcement for reelection waiting for Durbin to call it quits.
@RandallJSanders@CubsMagicNumber Just have a feeling that with all the time Shaw missed in ST, he will be held back until the domestic opening day. I think someone like Workman will start at 3rd in Japan
