We don’t hype Dinkar enough. Read these four stanzas to witness absolute genius! Every word remains undeniably true across time, generations and species.
क्षमा, दया, तप, त्याग, मनोबल, सबका लिया सहारा,
पर नर-व्याघ्र सुयोधन तुमसे, कहो, कहाँ, कब हारा?
(You tried forgiveness, patience, and sacrifice, but did Duryodhana ever back down because of your restraint?)
क्षमाशील हो रिपु-समक्ष, तुम हुये विनत जितना ही,
दुष्ट कौरवों ने तुमको, कायर समझा उतना ही।
(The more humble you were before your enemies, the more they dismissed you as a coward.)
अत्याचार सहन करने का, कुफल यही होता है,
पौरुष का आतंक मनुज, कोमल होकर खोता है।
(When a person becomes excessively soft and passive, they lose the healthy fear or respect that their strength and valor ought to command in others.)
क्षमा शोभती उस भुजंग को, जिसके पास गरल हो,
उसका क्या जो दंतहीन, विषरहित, विनीत, सरल हो।
(Forgiveness is a noble attribute only for a venomous snake that commands fear. What value or dignity is there in the "forgiveness" of a snake that has no teeth, carries no venom, and is inherently harmless and meek?)
The CJP protest was illegal, held without permission and under active Sec 163, BNSS. Even so, the state might have overlooked the defiance had it stopped there.
But then came the violence, arson, and assaults on security personnel. It will be a shame if the state fails to hunt down every last rioter, punish them decisively, and publicize it for all to see.
You have to draw the line somewhere and assert the rule of law. Anarchy tolerated is anarchy empowered.
What if Sonam Wangchuk went on another hunger strike, but this time demanding the abolition of the reservation?
Would he get support from celebrities? Would Instagram influencers run campaigns urging the govt to listen to him? Not at all. If anything, he might be physically attacked, and the govt would arrest him for provoking public sentiment and inciting riots. Nobody would call the govt 'oppressive' that time.
Essentially, neither his hunger strike nor his life is what truly matters; only the narrative matters. All of this emotional appeal to rally behind him is not for his sake, but for the sake of the narrative. His supposedly good image among the youth is merely a smokescreen to obscure the agenda driving him forward.
Such kind of support is always transactional. The moment the asset stops serving the ideological goals of the narrative-creators, his moral immunity will be revoked, his 'good image' will be dismantled overnight, and the very same crowd that idolises him would abandon him.
The CJI made a "cockroach" remark for some reason, which was seen as mocking the youth who criticize the judiciary and the system.
Organic outrage followed. Abhijit Dipke, a social media handler of a political party thought smartly and created a satirical Instagram account called the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). It was meant purely as satire. Since the cockroach comment was trending in the news, people followed the CJP account on a whim.
Seeing its potential, the political party Dipke was associated with jumped it and took over the initiative. They hired media agencies and influencers to promote the account further by generating hype, curiosity and making it the "in thing." Consequently, more people followed, triggering a bandwagon effect. Soon, the follower count reached crores.
Then, the political think tank behind CJP concluded that they had enough support. They reasoned that if even 1% of their 2.5 crore followers turned up for a physical protest, they could topple the govt, or bring a huge shock at least. A massive buildup was engineered for Dipke’s homecoming to India, mimicking the historical hype of Gandhi’s return from South Africa.
They anticipated such a massive crowd that they expected Dipke to be welcomed by crores of people at the airport. Instead, nobody showed up. Nobody turned up at the protest site either. It was a massive disappointment for a party with 2.5 crore urban followers to be incapable of finding even 50 organic protestors.
To compensate, they brought in the same old compulsive protestors to fill the site, leftist student unions, LGBT groups, farmer leaders, and aadarsh musalmaan groups, but the movement failed to kick off.
Next, they found Sonam Wangchuk, a man with a relatively clean past, apparently no political inclinations, and a public image popularized by a movie (which wasn't actually based on his life, but worked anyway). They convinced him to go on a hunger strike.
The party behind the movement waited 15 to 17 days for Wangchuk to lose weight, ensuring he looked frail, weak, and barely surviving. Once he reached that state, they launched a massive Instagram and Facebook campaign to emotionally manipulate and guilt the masses into supporting the movement through him. To a certain extent, they have been successful.
I don't know if Sonam is aware of it or not, but knowingly or unknowingly, he has become the face of a manufacturd movement.
P.S. Dharmendra Pradhan should have been sacked. I have said this multiple times too. Why? Simply because he is incompetent, not because someone is sitting on a hunger strike demanding it. Wangchuk might be a sincere guy, but the people pulling the strings behind this movement are not. And trust me, if something happens to Wangchuk, these people will be the happiest because it gives them a tragedy they can capitalize on to reignite a dying movement.
The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).
The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.
The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.
Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.
This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.
The very conditions that led to elections in Bihar and UP in the 1970s–90s being labelled as “jungle raj”, intimidation, political violence, and coercion, continue to persist in Bengal today.
Senior leaders from TMC have openly issued threats. Statements like “4 May ke baad koi bachane nahi aayega” or even “gala kaat denge” are part of mainstream political messaging. The scale of unrest is such that around 2.5 lakh central forces have had to be deployed for just elections, a figure that approaches nearly 70% of the total counter-terrorism forces stationed in Kashmir.
What makes this situation intellectually inconsistent is the selective moral framing. States once dismissed as “backward" have eliminated electoral violence over time. Meanwhile, a state projected as “progressive” has become a persistent centre of political intimidation. Yet, instead of being critiqued, this is frequently rationalized, dismissed as “resistance,” romanticized as political culture, or normalized with a casual “aise hi hota hai yahan.”
No comedian, no web series, and no film dares to touch this contradiction.
"Pakistan has waged four wars against us."
"Bro, that's between the two armies. Why blame the whole country?"
"They've been carrying out terror attacks in our cities."
"Blame that on terrorists, not on Pakistan. Pakistan itself is a victim of terror."
"Pakistan mediated a ceasefire between the US and Iran."
"Whoa! Pakistan, the superpower! The country that showed light to the world. Thank you, Pakistan, for brokering world peace. I love you, Pakistan. Marry me, Asim Munir."
"Bro, you won’t hold Pakistan accountable for proxy and conventional wars, bombing and killing our people, something that directly concerns us, but you sing praises for them for mediating a war that’s not even ours. Isn’t that absurd?"
"Yes, it is. In any reasonable country, I should have been picked up and beaten till I fall back in line, but we live in Vishwaguruland, where we have full freedom of expression, so much so that we can whitewash an enemy country’s crimes against us and attack our own country freely, and nobody can do a thing about it. Hehe. So cope."
In 2013, seven men took a young photojournalist into an abandoned Mumbai mill, gang-raped her, and filmed it to threaten her.
It became a national outrage, as Shakti Mills gangrape case. Three of the accused were initially sentenced to death. Reacting to this, Mulayam Singh Yadav said, “Phansi dena galat hai, ladke hain, ladko se galti ho jaati hai.”
Among the most insensitive remarks on crimes against women ever made by a mainstream politician. Neither Mulayam Singh nor the Samajwadi Party ever apologised for it. Speaking of mahila sammaan with such a legacy and equating it to a mere Rs.40,000 is deeply hypocritical.
I was today years old when I learned that LPG dealerships are allotted as per the central reservation policy.
SC/ST: 22.5%, OBC: 27%. 50.5% is Open category, where anyone can apply, and the dealership is awarded through a draw of lots to eligible people.
So basically, if your dealer doesn’t give you LPG, don’t pick a fight with them. Who knows, you may or may not get the gas, but you might end up inside under the Atrocities Act.
ANI found time to cover a small pro-UGC rally in Bihar, but when a major protest against the same UGC rules took place in the heart of the country, they ignored it completely.
That silence says more than the coverage.

I’m unable to get in touch with her at the moment. Could you please confirm her well-being for me?
Madhya Pradesh runs a scholarship scheme called MPTAAS for poor students belonging to SC, ST, and OBC from Class XI to PhD. I’m sure similar schemes are running in every state.
I just want to ask why not poor students of GC? If a welfare scheme already covers 85–90% of the state’s population, what rational justification exists for excluding the remaining section purely on caste lines?
Does the state assume that all GCs are economically secure? And if it is aware, as it must be, that a substantial number of GCs are poor, then their continued exclusion cannot be accidental. It points to a deeper structural bias: poverty is recognised only when it belongs to certain castes, and disregarded when it does not, an instance of administrative discrimination disguised as policy.
Your concerned official is clearly not taking this issue seriously. @RailwaySeva it appears that no concrete assistance is being provided. Instead, the matter is being passed from one person to another without any resolution.
No you are not, you guys are just testing our patience. It's 03:46 PM and still I haven't reached my destination yet.
In the name of help, you are saying we trying to best to recover?
@drmncrald@RailwaySeva@kashyap__13 Your train is running late due to late started from it's origination point, now we are trying our best to recover the lost time as much as possible.
Thanks.

Why?
Indian elites are disconnected from reality:
Since their kids don’t join the army, they think we exaggerate the threat from Pakistan.
Since they interact only with Pakistan’s elites, they assume the average Pakistani loves India.
Since their kids don't get mauled by stray dogs, they think it's not a public problem.
Since they don't travel in public transport, they feel cutting a few trees (though replanting many) for newer transport for masses isn't needed.
Since they stay in secure posh areas and don't become victims of attacks by illegal infiltrators or demographic change, they feel it's not even an issue.
Since they don’t celebrate festivals in the traditional way, they preach and guilt-trip commoners into not doing it either.
The elites neither represent the masses nor understand their struggles, which is why the moment they speak on issues that don’t concern them, they must be put in their place.

A gold mangalsutra is purchased by an elderly couple on a pilgrimage to Pandharpur from a jewelry store.
Unaware of the cost, the wife naively offers her meager savings.
"Please keep your money. Just bless me, and may Lord Pandurang bless us all," the shopkeeper replied
