Atomic models for all the classified ribosome structures were built together with @swantjelenz from the @RappsilberLab. These structures captured major translation intermediate states and could reconstruct the whole translation elongation cycle.
Preprint of our in-cell structural study on #ribosomes using #cryoET and #SubTomoAnalysis is out!
We captured the translation machinery in action inside native bacterial cells, with over 13 ribosome intermediates resolved at 4-10Å resolutions.
