@comm3140 A4 I like the free stuff. I like the uplifting content. I think if you're going to be on social media selling a service or product you have to make people feel good. #comm3140
@comm3140 A3 - I think content is shareable when it speaks to a wider audience. My example would be @Nike when they presented a video called "just call me crazy". It's about women in sports and how they are constant battling stigmas. Whether you like Nike or not, it's shareable. #comm3140
@comm3140 A2 - I feel like it's important. I feel like a CTA can be really subtle and still effective. For example, just having a link at the bottom of the post invites people to learn more. #comm3140
@comm3140 A1 - my company is basically always grasping onto the feminist movement in America, and they always post funny memes about feminism that I love sharing. Its contagious with my friends and followers. It's a big movement right now! #comm3140
This is just important to know! I think many people in America have heard the words Net Neutrality, but no one know what it actually happening. There is a possibility that if voters don't stay educated we won't have any rights to broadband access at all! #COMM3120
Big telecom’s bought-and-paid-for members of Congress just unleashed THREE bad bills that would permanently undermine #NetNeutrality if passed. Get all the details: https://t.co/rsr7cri5rd
@JustineGamble18 Yeah. This is q really good point. This is why I am definitely a realist but leaning towards pessimistic. I think the whole issue of suicide would be less prevalent without social media. I think.
@DeuelPaige I wish so badly I could lean to the positive side but all that I can think about are the increasing suicides and eating disorders due to oversaturation of photoshop on Instagram. Ya know? It's so difficult.
@Marissa03931954 I agree. I feel like there should be a broader spectrum. Of lenses because it is so complicated. I love Social Media but I would give it up if I know it would make the world a better place.
@KerstenHarrison I agree. There is no way to be totally present with social media. For example, I'm sitting on the couch with my husband watching a movie... tweeting. #comm3120
I do believe social media is more harmful than helpful because the cons outweigh the pros. Sure I can connect with aunt emily in Canada, but is it worth the horrible addictions, eating disorders, mental disorders and more? #COMM3120
