Tulsa Double Murder Suspect Captured Overnight and no one will identify him. OK. I will.

Here's the timeline from the scanner and various online reports:
One news outlet has it starting at the 6000 block of S 941st E Ave at 8 PM. That's incorrect.

8:27:09 PM - TFDs E28 & L20 responded to a retirement community at 63rd and 91st E Ave for an 83-year-old male that appeared to be DRT/DOA. It sounded like a total clusterfuck. The staff couldn't connect the firefighters to the patients.

26 MF'ing minutes later → 8:53:05 PM - Found them. Two patients. Both DRT. Roll TPD. Based on that alone, this investigation is going to spiderweb.

OHP was notified at 11:52:34 PM that TPD requested a canvas of the service area / BOLO starting 16 minutes earlier (at 23:36) on Hwy-169 northbound from 11th for a homicide suspect driving a red Chevy Colorado and possibly armed with a handgun.

7/4/2026 12:00:54 AM – OHP arrives on scene.

12:01:28 AM – TFDs E15 & E17 responded to the 7400 block of East I-244 in the westbound lanes, possibly closer to Sheridan. The red Chevy Colorado ran into another unoccupied/parked vehicle.

12:03:20 AM – OHP notifies dispatch that he needs EMSA ASAP.

12:07:18 AM – E17 arrives and notices guns are drawn and advises E15 to back off.

12:07:46 AM – The driver of the red Chevy Colorado is confirmed as the homicide suspect. TPD is on scene. Telling EMSA to move away.

12:13:56 AM – More OHP arriving on scene. Shutting down all lanes. Diverting traffic onto Sheridan.

12:18:23 AM – Shit got a little harry. Emergency radio traffic only.
Radio comms stopped.

Barricaded?
Not exiting / following commands?
Neither. He was trapped in the wreckage.

12:35:19 AM – TPD has the suspect in custody → transported to a hospital. TPD is taking over the scene.

12:41:06 AM – One lane open. TPD is taking over the scene.
