If poetry is the mirror of the soul, then its clearest truth is this: beneath all the stories, all the varied experiences, we are creatures born for love.
I mistook survival
for the shape of my life,
fear flowering beneath my skin.
But I learned to close the wound -
all bleeding eventually stops.
And in the tender scar,
I find myself.

We explore the world
with maps in our hands,
yet rarely the country
beneath our own skin.
There are wounds
we spend years avoiding,
until we turn toward them
and discover they were
part of the map all along.

Floating where the wild winds wander
Each whisper lighter than the last
As though the sky has learned to breathe
Tender remnants of what has passed.
Held aloft by unseen currents
Ever drifting
Reminding us that even fragile things have journeys of their own.

She carries #passion like
a flame beneath her skin,
ancient as the moon,
wild as the sea.
She is creator and creation -
hands that shape,
womb that births,
heart that turns suffering into art.
Sacred in her becoming,
celestial in the way she rises.

Tonight, we #embark upon the dark -
not fearing what the season brings,
but trusting every falling leaf
to teach us how to unfurl our wings.

It's you.
It's you.
It's all for you.
Every whispered wish,
every trembling breath,
every star I gather
from the dark.
The moon keeps our secrets,
the night calls our names,
and somewhere between
the ache and the devotion,
our love becomes an
all-consuming flame.

They asked for her name.
We gave them our own.
They searched for one woman;
we answered: 𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻.
For she is the daughter,
the sister, the bride,
the girl who grew careful
with nowhere to hide.

They wanted her isolated,
her silence contained.
Instead, every woman
stood up with her name.
For she is not a secret
you get to expose.
She is not your spectacle.
She is not yours to disclose.
But blood remembers
the hands that it knew.
The earth does not tremble
for seeds that it grew.
And still she is rising,
with thunderous grace-
the mother of oceans,
the maker of race.
Let kingdoms remember,
let stone hear her name:
you cannot extinguish
the source of the flame.
They come from the river
they seek to command,
born from the darkness
of their mother’s land.
They drink from the chalice,
then shatter the cup,
take the fire from her hands
and demand that she hush.
They fear what she carries,
the ancient, the wise-
the stars in her marrow,
the storms in her eyes.
So they bury her knowing,
her hunger, her flame,
build walls around wonder
and call it her shame.
Never safe under the sheets,
never within the leaves,
never safe under the depths of the waves
nor buried ten feet deep.
Never safe beneath the sheets,
where warmth should soften
and comfort given
but hands turn heavy,
grasping, uninvited, unforgiving.
It's you.
It's you.
It's all for you.
Every whispered wish,
every trembling breath,
every star I gather
from the dark.
The moon keeps our secrets,
the night calls our names,
and somewhere between
the ache and the devotion,
our love becomes an
all-consuming flame.
Kiss me like a cannibal -
with the fevered hunger
of something that has crossed deserts
just to find my blood.
Let your mouth be a warning,
your smile a dark, knowing curve
of lips that have already decided
I will never be enough.
