@lukepage218 Also, he would never release footage to out someone - I know that was meant as a joke and it was executed poorly. Their heart is to make their community better. They spend a lot of their lives doing that, so when something like this happens it’s disheartening.
@lukepage218 Not defending how it was handled necessarily, but this is only one example of a lot of ways their property is disrespected. When they spend so much time, money, and energy on it, it is hard not to take it personally.
Someone explain to me how I have imposter syndrome about being a mom. I gave birth to him! He’s my baby! But I still don’t feel like a mom or that I am in any way qualified for this!
My baby turns one tomorrow and I do not regret one single night I rocked him to sleep instead of letting him cry. Just needed to get it off my chest. :-)
One of my responsibilities at work is writing email newsletters every once in a while. My boss HATES the Oxford comma and always deletes them when they check my work, without telling me they did it. We have never discussed it, but it makes me sad.
Someday we will be able to tell Wylie we saw John Mayer live at least five times and I really hope he’s able to appreciate that. Like, that he’ll think we’re really cool because of it. If we’ve done a good job, he’ll think we’re the coolest ever.
I found a therapist I really like which feels like such a huge victory, and we had a really good session today which is also just so nice. Don’t know why I’m tweeting about it, but it was a good day.
I would just like to say, as the eldest daughter of divorced parents who had a dad and a step dad and a people-pleasing complex, I am very glad Daddy-Daughter Dances were not really a thing when I was little.
