There is a crucial difference between cure and healing. Gabor explores both in his next book, The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness & Healing in a Toxic Culture being released on September 13, 2022 and available for pre-order now: https://t.co/VTt4UmBLN1

The most frustrating thing about working in drug policy is that people think its about the drugs. Its about addressing trauma, housing, financial security, family, opportunity, aspiration and hope. Rarely about the drugs.
Another great peer team meeting this morning at Stages Middlesbrough, love us all getting together and was a pleasure to have Paul Wade from South Yorkshire and Lindsey from James Cook joining us .
In honor of the start of National Trauma Awareness Month and of Mental Health Awareness Month, we need to acknowledge the roles that trauma and stress exert on our bodies and minds if we have hope of untangling the myth of normal.
We met Tracy who had been worrying for years about having #hepc, with the use of P2P, 1 of our amazing nurses able to scan complete assessment at home. Tracy's consent and is now on the pathway to being cured! She said "this is amazing to do this at my home" contact us on:📞 💜
