@MidwivesRCM@joan_myers the best session of #rcmconf22 by far. Inspiring, motivational, uplifting, full of positivity. The perfect antidote to slump in staff morale.
@TicketmasterCS STILL no tickets 😡
@ticketmaster had put non existent email address on my order
May be able to link a new email address to my order
BUT less than 24h to go & this STILL hasn’t been done
No reply from customer service since 18:00 🤷🏻♀️
Can’t book hotel…in limbo
@TicketmasterUK “customer service” beyond belief. Concert in 3 days, no tickets, £200 on credit card. No email confirmation. 1 hour waiting for an agent to be free on webchat. Going to have to cancel hotel otherwise I’ll be paying £100+ to stay for gig with no tickets ☹️😡
@helenturier @CampaignsKeith how long ago was it that that we did the #twins study day at University of Southampton for @TwinsTrust
Forever grateful for your help
Look at what these fabulous #studentmidwives have achieved this weekend 🤩 well done all
It’s a windy but warm day down here on Southbourne seafront as we set out for our @twinstrust 10km walk! Show the love and drop a #donation here

@AlisonBrindle@NHSLeadership I’m doing this at the moment and enjoying it. There seem to be fewer in-house training opportunities (that aren’t stat and mand days) due to Covid/staffing/acuity so this seemed like a good programme

A year ago I read @MichaelRosenYes’s poem about the NHS on @BBCr4today. He had Covid and was fighting for his life in ICU. So 12 months later, it is wonderful to have him here on @BBCNews reading it himself. Thanks @charliemackesy for illustrating so beautifully #bbcnews10
@doctorrah Laughter, listening, a culture of women at the centre of all care & communication, lack of hierarchy (everyone can make tea), MDT training & teaching, respect, no blame culture, understanding of each other’s roles, compassion towards everyone, inclusivity, ❤️
@Sam_P_Midwife Sleep normally the night before, have a nap before work. Have a good dinner not too long before you start. Take snacks, an emergency cereal bar in your pocket, a jumper for your break, headphones. Enjoy it, take it all in, talk to everyone, be yourself 🤩
@myGPapp The thing I’ve never thought when going for a cervical smear:
I hope they like my pubic hair (same applies to my choice of pants)
The thing I always think when going for a cervical smear:
I hope they don’t re-traumatise me
(Also: I hope I don’t have a panic attack)
