The worst part of a society manipulated by politics is to see the poor defending the rich who are responsible for their poverty. 🤦🏼‍♂️

[Jai Cabajar @jaicabajar]

I don’t mind discussions about our fees. Yes it’s uncomfortable but also necessary. Maybe then will we realize na sistema ang kalaban, hindi isa’t isa.

In other news..

Naga is such a happy place despite the previous typhoon ano?

Nagtratrabaho kasi ng maayos yung mayor doon

Linawin natin. Dutertes and their supporters are never for good governance nor for accountability.

We are not the same, Senator Bato.

Kaya't ikulong LAHAT, mga KURAKOT!

On Al Jazeera.

We report from Talisay City in Cebu where an entire village was washed away by raging floodwaters triggered by Typhoon Kalmaegi #TinoPH and search ops are still ongoing to find the missing.

Politicians hate science.

Because it will prevent then from stealing our taxes.

[Cleve V. Arguelles @CleveArguelles]

Too high a death toll for a country that supposedly learned its lesson already after Yolanda. How we endure all these on our own while keeping local dynasties in power who even profit from our misery is really self-inflicted wound. We need a national wave of green leaders to take over our local and national government.

Philippines: 😭😭 This poor lady sobbed as floodwaters from Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) reached her pigs’ pen.

One pig didn’t survive, heart-breaking as they are both pets and her family’s livelihood.

[Thea Tan @imtheatan]

I really feel bad for the owners of these cars. Some of them might still be paying off their car loans. Imagine watching your hard-earned property get destroyed like this.

Meanwhile, the flood control crooks can afford to buy a hundred of these cars without even breaking a sweat.

If you’re still not angry, I don’t know what will wake you up. Nakakagalit!
