@MDAndersonNews showed up strong at the 12th Annual @HeadfortheCure with the Brain Tumor Center's Team Neu Runs! We had the largest team with 78 walkers/runners and raised $1,911 in donations. Special highlights were the recognition of two of our esteemed physicians, @VPuduvalli and Gregory Friedman, M.D., and a presentation honoring our captain, Dr. Puduvalli, as a Healthcare Hero. Our gratitude to Anne Kleiman, D.O., and Benjamin Anderson for their mentorship of the planning committee, to @GorlickRichard, @anthonymatt, Shelley Robson, Eleanor Chan, @Yblackmon03, Adelita Martinez and David Cogdell for their leadership and collaboration and to Ma Amabelle Ablan, Kiana Gardner and Desarae Hubbard for their stunning photos of our participation! Together, we’re moving forward to #EndCancer.
It’s a bit belated, but I am happy to share the latest work from our group, led by a very talented post doc in the lab, Tessa Popay @tessapopay with great support from the 4D Nucleome consortium, Rita Allen, and the Pew Biomedical Scholars.

This past weekend, we kicked off the fall season by volunteering at the @HoustonArboretu ArBOOretum Family Festival. It was a wonderful experience watching kids and families come together to decorate pumpkins, get face paintings, and enjoy trick-or-treating on the trail.
As we near first day of fall, we would like to invite the GSBS Community to our first kick-off volunteer event of the year at the Houston Arboretum’s annual ArBOOretum Family Festival! This is a festive and family-friendly community event that we participate in annually.
