@TfL@lucypage I've had the same experience many times too & have complained to station staff & directly to TFL who assured me announcements would be made on the train in future-but it's still not happening. The lack of communication is frustrating, and also unsafe when travelling late at night
#HowToBreakIntoTheElite was brilliantly made, but incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking to watch. @amolrajan,for those of us working in finance (but not involved in recruitment), how can we best provide opportunities/mentoring/assistance to people like Amaan?
THIS is a really important initiative from @abcnews Most of the people we interview as experts in their fields are blokes. Where are all the women? Nominate a lady friend/colleague who is a particular kind of awesome in their field. Do it today 🙏🏼Thank you

@BraunstoneBoy @anaannnnna@lennythepen Of course you have the right to be angry. Don't blame you for it. I just don't think, when you have such huge competition, that pissing off your customers is a good course of action. But it's your bed to lie in.
@WC1Robert@anaannnnna@lennythepen "sorry madam, that's a bus lane and this is a taxi"... "ok"
Ubers don't drive in bus lanes and they seem to be doing just fine.
@lennythepen@anaannnnna And no, they were held hostage by taxis. Don't shift the blame. If you're worried about your livelihoods, maybe don't screw over the very customers you rely on.
@lennythepen@anaannnnna If it was one night I could understand, but to continue for over a week, knowingly causing major inconvenience and costing your own customers time, money, and opportunities is incredibly selfish.
@anaannnnna@lennythepen Totally agree. Causing such extreme disruption and ruining thousands of people's evenings is bad enough once, but it's now the second week. I missed a GP app because of their selfish actions + had to pay more than double my usual fare to get home as buses were held hostage.
@virginmedia yet another ETA for the N7 outage. Why do you bother? Clearly it means nothing so why not just be honest and say that you have no idea when service will be resumed.
@aahaworth @gpontadam@ArranOakes@virginmedia I've resigned myself to the fact that we'll probably have a Brexit deal before our services are back up and running.
@virginmedia Since you've extended the ETA for the N7 outage yet again, could you at least tell us what the issue is? The complete lack of transparency is so disrespectful to your paying customers.
@virginmedia@Craig_Ottley @EmonMeah @JetCuthbertson Appreciate that some problems are trickier than others, but 5 days is completely unacceptable. Service credits don't go anywhere near compensating for the level of disruption, lost business and inconvenience this has caused.
@virginmedia All services in N7 down since Thursday, service status changed several times, and now delayed until Monday morning. How is 5 days without service acceptable? Why is this not being urgently attended to? No tv and internet for a whole weekend. What's your response?
