It’s funny, my shirt is by @lululemon and I love their clothes, but it was a gift because they are not quite in a teacher’s budget, and they don’t offer a “teacher discount. And they call their employees “educators”👀
RT this if Lululemon should have a discount for teachers.🤷🏻♂️
#REGATHERING UPDATE: Due to lighting in the area, we cannot turn on the stage equipment until 11 am. Therefore the RAIN PLAN is in effect.

A blessing for when you just need to put one foot in front of the other
Oh God,
the thought of trying for a new and improved me makes me tired.
I am barely getting anywhere,
so draw me closer to a different vision,
one that sees that I don’t need perfection—
I need love.
Proud wife shared Tweet! ❤️ this sweet gem of a story that our little family helped create at bedtime a few years ago. It's been a favorite in our family for awhile and I am so glad @ToddHertz gets to share it with the world today! (Only gratis till midnight tonight!)
It's a wacky Wednesday story, and it's available for FREE today only!

a blessing for when there's no cure for being human
God, I feel it again, the burden of being human,
and the fact that nothing will exempt us
from the pain of it.
Our family is carrying some heaviness right now, and after sharing about it with a trusted friend, she offered this poem. “I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief.” Wow. Yes. I need this kind of peace today. Maybe you do too?
I hope you will take a couple of minutes to watch this. Her name is Melanie Moore and she is from Georgia.
The whole country needs to hear this. Please watch.
We’re existentially exhausted by It All, and afraid of what is to come. So what now? Same old same old: breathe, pray if we pray, show up, listen, donate, give blood, stick together, practice gratitude, radical self care, take care of the poor, pick up litter, & love like crazy.
I don't often retreat my own teacher tweets, but this is crosses both personal and professional passions! Wow! Thanks @DanielNayeri for the amazing story!
One of my favorite lines I've read in a LONG time: "Reading is an act of listening & speaking at the same time, w/ someone you've never met but love." Also, like narrative style of J. Conrad: "The thing is the story OF the story. The spending of the time." #GHSConnect
