Want hands-on experience with Expo UI? βοΈ
Join Keith Kurak (@expo) and @frankcalise (@infinite_red) at our Applied Expo UI Intermediate Workshop.
You'll explore how SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose can be used directly in React Native, work through practical platform-native UI examples, and learn when to fully convert a screen versus mixing native and cross-platform approaches.
You'll also get hands-on with Expo Router features like form sheets and shared transitions, plus Android's Material dynamic colors.
Don't miss it! π

This month I took on a new role at Infinite Red: Iβm now CEO.
My longtime business partner Todd retired after over 10 years working together, and now @GantLaborde and I are charting our own course.
Todd has been an amazing business partner and remains a great friend. We will miss having him around every day (he plans to still hang out with us regularly though). Heβs never been a public facing figure, but the team always loved working with him. Heβs the type of guy who loves to make people laugh, who asks about your day, and treats everyone like family no matter what your title is. In fact, the lower your title, the more he wanted to support you.
It seems like my job changes every 10 years or so. I started my first business in 2005, merged it into Todd and Gantβs company in 2015, and now taking over as CEO in 2026.
We have some pretty big challenges coming up. The market is pretty soft and we havenβt kept quite as busy as Iβd like. We also have our eye on how AI is changing our industry.
Gant and I are optimistic, though. The team is in a great place, leadership is very cohesive, and we have a lot of ideas to help Infinite Red navigate the uncertain waters ahead.
Iβm excited about the future!
Don't forget to get your Chain React tickets! The only US-based React Native conference. We're co-presenting with Expo this year and it's going to be rad.
