God uses His Word, people around you, & life to shape you.

He’s more interested in who you’re becoming than in what you’re doing.

Chapter 21: Protecting Your Church

Some years ago, I ranted about a believer’s conduct on my WhatsApp status and one of my fathers in the faith asked me- “Before posting this, did you pray for him?”

🎤Be real about your expectations. No church is perfect.

🎤Speak life—encourage more, criticize less.

🎤No Gossips.

🎤If there’s conflict, handle it God’s way.

🎤And hey, SUPPORT YOUR PASTORS AND LEADERS. They bear more than you know.

7. Emphasize reconciliation, not resolution. The goal isn’t to fix every issue but to restore love & trust.

At the end of the day, every restored relationship reflects the heart of God—a God who loved us even when we were far from Him. Let’s be people who do the same for others.

Sometimes, when I read the Bible & realize what Christian conduct should look like, I’m like “God abeg o. Am I the one you expect this from?”

One Christian conduct that aids one’s ability to live a purpose driven life is what chapter 20 talks about- Restoring Broken Fellowship.

5. Attack the problem, not the person.
Speak the truth in love. Focus on the issue, not on blame or character attacks.

6. Cooperate as much as possible. Sometimes unity means meeting halfway. Be willing to bend where you can, without compromising what’s right.
