@PukeMrs @australian Education is one of Australia's most lucrative 'exports'. Overseas students pay top dollar with no access to HECS. Working holidaymakers vital to farms and tourism. If they go (and there are plenty of other countries who will welcome them), who will do that work?

@Whitsome20 @australian A lot of the Uber drivers have qualifications (medicine, engineering etc) and are studying for Australian certifications to practice. Also, there is a minuscule numbers of BA students these days which is a tragedy we will pay for later.
