@THEunrealSC@stellaaa @sheeston1979 I totally agree with this. But then again, I’ve been commenting to friends since December how unusual that it is that we’ve had no rain for so long, so I think that certainly lengthened our fire season past its typical point.
@barristerlawusa@libsoftiktok 2/ before that day, but he certainly learned about it that day and then went on to become a mechanical engineer, in part because of the traumatic experience he had.
@barristerlawusa@libsoftiktok 1/ It doesn’t surprise me that you ended up learning how to fly and build planes as a result of your trauma. I have a friend who was working a ride at a theme park twenty years ago when they had a fatal accident. My friend says he knew basically nothing about ride maintenance
@mtotowaungas @NBCNews The shooting had been going on for a while at this point. Literally every young person in the vicinity would have been off their phone and trying to survive by then.
Still freaking out cause I met @rianjohnson last night. He clearly was busy but still was kind enough to stop and chat for a few moments. We even brought up the “Revenge of the Incels” short film I was in that parodied his film “Brick,” and he actually remembered it. So yeah😭
@littlemisslewis@MarcusRashford I’m frankly amazed by the number of men flat out refusing to follow these steps in the replies. It’s not like we’re asking them to bend over backwards, it’s just asking a few tiny things out of compassion for their fellow human beings.
@highcheyy Someone I know lost her taste while she had covid, then got it back, and then months later she lost it again. She tested negative the second time so her doctor told her it was related to the original time she got covid like a weird latent symptom. Maybe it’s like that?
@DrCKDuffy @karlyQvisser @DrStevenJLawson If I remember correctly, I think it’s based off of Luke 1:5 & 2:1-2 (and probably other passages). Correlating Herod’s rule, Quirinius governor of Syria, Caesar Augustus’s rule, plus the census order helps to narrow down the timeframe. I’m probably missing something else.
@highcheyy And on the opposite end of the weather spectrum, I’ve realized lately it really keeps my face warm in the cold! Made me realize why people in movies that take place in like the Arctic always wrap a scarf around their face😂
