@lepinekong Oh, wow, you can't imagine how much I needed this just two days before getting back to work after maternity leave. Great talk! Thank you so much for sharing!
Many anxious leaders experience more impostor syndrome as they grow in their careers and become more successful. Seems unfair, right? @drorbeaustin joins me to get us get rid of #impostorsyndrome and fill our own cups. @LinkedIn https://t.co/8oWpPzg5m9
@pockycoder Oh that's amazing! Yes, Chiang Mai is like a digital nomad hub, great co working spaces, very fast internet, so many things to do. I hope you have an awesome time in Thailand!
@pockycoder I spent one month working from Chiang Mai, Thailand, and since then it has a special place in my heart. I wish I could go back there, I would drink Thai tea and eat mango sticky rice like there's no tomorrow! 🥹😄

@emmalearnscode @ibilalkayy I wasn't aware of EddieHub, thank you very much for sharing! I've always wanted to contribute to open source projects but I didn't know where to start from, everything looked complicated and I was getting discouraged. "Collaboration first, Code second", loved it. I'll def join!
Inspiring and hopeful thread! I get super anxious during interviews too. I've been to a few that I don't even want to remember - definitely not representative of my skills. Pair programming sounds way more natural and comfortable to me.
One of the companies I interviewed with ended up restoring my faith in technical interviews.
Before the interview, they had me check out a GitHub repo in my language of choice, get familiar with the code base and asked me to show up with the repo loaded to my favorite IDE.

@MahsaGoudarzi 👏👏👏 I read in your post about useCallback and useMemo and remembered a very interesting post from @kentcdodds about these hooks. It helped me understand when these are needed and how to avoid premature optimization. Hope you find it interesting too: https://t.co/TRdiNbLun5
Not knowing how to use the terminal (no one to teach me, frustrated when I tried to "just Google it") set me back ~5 years on my career potential.
Share this w/ your team, it's not common knowledge and a huge barrier.
Thanks for writing it, @JoshWComeau!

👉For dynamic routes 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑃𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑠 function can be used to define the list of the paths that need to be statically generated.
💡It goes hand in hand with the 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑠 func as it feeds it with the path parameters needed to fetch each page's data
👉 When the page content depends on external data (passed through the page props), 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑠 function can be used to fetch the needed data during build time, and feed the page with them.
