Game 3: W 2-1 vs Demo 16U

Team hit .379/.407/.843 over the 3 games with 33 hits, 18 runs, and 14 RBI. Pitching staff put up a 0.737 team ERA and 19 K’s in 19 innings — dominant.

🔥 K Taylor: 2-0, 12 K, .467 ERA, 15 IP pitched — and went 3-3 with 3 RBI at the plate in the Chaos win; .500 avg, 2 RBI, 1 run

SILVER LAKE VS. READING: SOFTBALL
Silver Lake 6 Reading 5 (MIAA Tournament)
June 3, 2026. Silver Lake defeated Reading in a Division 2 round of 16 MIAA Massachusetts State Tournament game. Silver Lake’s Megan Arseneau was the hero at bat as she had 2 doubles including a go-ahead 2 run double, singled, scored a run and had 2 RBIs that helped power the win for the Lakers. Anna Craft, Kendall Broderick, Maddy Thompson and Zoe Varnum each contributed to the victory with 1 hit and 1 RBI. Pitcher Katelyn Taylor struck out 5 batters to earn the win in the circle. Shaelynn Fredey had a standout game making plays for outs in the infield on defense.

Reading’s Claire Puglielli hit a home run, singled and had 3 RBIs. Ashley Ahlert had 2 doubles and 1 RBI.

Highlight Plays: In the bottom of the sixth inning, Silver Lake’s Megan Arseneau connected for a double to right field that scored 2 runs (Zoe Varnum and Maddy Thompson) for the go ahead hit and runs which ended up being the game winner. In the top of the seventh inning, Silver Lake held Reading scoreless and ended it when Katelyn Taylor fired a strikeout.

Silver Lake (17-3) advances to the Elite 8 round of the MIAA Tournament against King Philip on June 6, 2026.

Silver Lake 3 Leominster 2 (MIAA Tournament)
May 31, 2026. Silver Lake defeated Leominster 3-2 in a Division 2 MIAA State of Massachusetts Tournament game. Silver Lake’s Anna Craft had 2 RBIs with 1 hit (single). Megan Arseneau went 3 for 3 with 3 singles. Pitcher Katelyn Taylor had a great game as she allowed only 4 hits, 1 walk, 0 earned runs and struck out 8 batters and at bat on offense added 2 hits (singles).

With the score 2-1 with Leominster in the lead to start the bottom of the fifth inning, Silver Lake’s Anna Craft hit a hard grounder that scored Maddy Thompson to tie the game 2-2. Silver Lake’s Elise Tartaglione then scored Megan Arseneau via a fielder’s choice to put Silver Lake ahead 3-2 which turned out to be the game winner as Silver Lake retired all 6 batters faced in the sixth and seventh inning including 2 strikeouts by Katelyn Taylor to win the game.

Silver Lake (16-3) advances to the Sweet 16 round of the MIAA Tournament.

May 23, 2026. Silver Lake defeated Pembroke 1-0. Silver Lake’s pitcher Kate Taylor was the difference maker as she had an outstanding overall game allowing only 4 hits, 0 walks, 0 runs and struck out 7 batters to earn the shutout win in the circle and at bat on offense had a double, single, walk and 1 RBI.

Silver Lake’s Anna Craft had 2 hits (2 doubles) and had a strong game on defense making plays for outs. Zoe Varnum had 1 hit (single).

The score was tied 0-0 until the bottom of the sixth inning when Silver Lake’s Kate Taylor singled to score Elise Tartaglione for the game’s only run.

Pembroke’s Kathryn McPhee led the Titans at bat with 2 hits. Pitcher Grace Baker pitched a great game allowing only 1 run, 1 walk and struck out 3 batters.

Silver Lake is now (15-3) in 2026.
