@MayorCarter I reported on this when it launched in St. Paul. Interviewed a family who was a recipient of #guaranteedincome - a married couple with 4 kids, one of them sick, so they had medical debt, and also lost work during the pandemic. This program really helps. https://t.co/ApQDzZq9tl
Saint Paul is proof #guaranteedincome works. It works to increase employment, improve access to better housing, and boost quality of life. New data from our People's Prosperity Pilot study confirms it works to help people take charge of their future. https://t.co/dBh1fY4YnN (1/2)
A major news outlet named Dean Phillips as Biden's only opponent. When another journalist wrote to say, "Actually, Marianne Williamson is also running," she received this reply: GROW UP.
When another political journalist mentioned my name on an Australian news program, saying that both Dean Phillips and I were Biden's opponents, they actually edited out my name!
And, of course, on CNN and MSNBC you wouldn't have any idea I'm running because to them I do not exist.
It's like the old Soviet Union around here. Yeah, you can vote for whomever you want...but the system will make sure your choices are only among those it wishes you to think of as your options. Anyone else they deem "nonviable" or "unserious."
To them, the only people "qualified" to run are those who are qualified to perpetuate and maintain the system as it is. My qualification is not in how to perpetuate the system; my qualification is in how to disrupt it.
