TRUMP SONS SEEK PENTAGON CONTRACT IN CONFLICT OF INTEREST DEBACLE
BREAKING: Donald Trump's "big speech" at the RNC snowballs into a full-blown crisis as critics dogpile his sleepy, rambling 93 minute performance — giving Democrats a huge burst of confidence.
"Honestly, it felt like listening to a fourth grader's essay who had to meet a thousand words and was just kinda using fillers," said one Michigan voter on MSNBC. "And not really explaining anything, or giving any real ideas."
The universal opinion appears to be that Trump's speech was far too long, a result of his massive ego and desperate need for attention.
"So I gave his speech a D," said another undecided Michigan voter on CNN. "It started out great but then he went into mistruths and grievances and attacks and it just totally contradicted itself in terms of what he wanted to achieve with unity."
This was a moment when Trump could have attracted new voters and demonstrated energy and vision. Instead, viewers saw a washed up, clueless old man spewing lies.
"It was remarkably long acceptance speech and a remarkably dishonest acceptance speech. I counted at least twenty-two false claims from Donald Trump on first listen," said CNN's Daniel Dale during a conversation with Jake Tapper.
Dale went on to list the lies. They included the absurd claim that Trump achieved world peace during his presidency, the lie that the 2020 election was stolen, that crime is going up while it's actually decreasing.
Trump falsely asserted that inflation is the worst it's ever been, that there was no inflation under his administration, and that Democrats want to quadruple taxes. Every time he opened his mouth, a lie came out.
An ex-senior adviser to former President Barack Obama praised Donald Trump’s lengthy, rambling speech at the Republican National Convention as being “good” for Democrats.
"This is the first good thing that‘s happened to Democrats in the last three weeks," former Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said on CNN. "This really reminded everyone why Donald Trump is fundamentally unpopular outside this room."
"If this clinically-insane Trump speech does not get Democrats out of their defeatist doldrums, and focused and energized around electing their nominee -instead of tearing him down- I don’t know what will," tweeted Republican commentator Ana Navarro-Cárdenas.
"Tonight’s speech is going to harden Democrats’ spines," said New York Times columnist Ezra Klein. "The best argument against the party replacing Biden was fatalism: if you’ll lose anyway, may as well lose conventionally. But no Democrat watching that speech thought Trump unbeatable. It was an antidote to fatalism."
Together we can do this. We can defeat MAGA fascism in November and usher in four more years of Democratic prosperity.
Vote blue, save America!

We’re proud to have sponsored and attended the @ActNow4Alz Music & Memories Gala. The event raised funds for families living with #AlzheimersDisease (AD) and related dementias in New Jersey.
FUN FACTS: Obama states that Donald Trump lacks planning skills and does not prioritize facts. Although he identifies as a businessperson, there have been other successful individuals in the business field who have accomplished great achievements without a history of legal disputes and unpaid employees.

Hey Brett Kavanaugh.
Want to talk about affirmative action and student loans?
Let’s examine how you got into Yale, shall we?
During your Senate testimony, you said “I got into Yale Law School. That’s the No. 1 law school in the country. I had no connections there. I got there by busting my tail in college.”
But, like much of your testimony, this wasn’t exactly true. 👇
You see, we found a copy of a 1928 Yale yearbook and it turns out your grandfather Everett Edward Kavanaugh also attended Yale as an undergraduate student.
So that makes you a legacy student a liar.
So to recap, you got into your grandfather’s alma mater, then went to the Law School.
That matters — because admission to an undergraduate institution can more than double a student’s chance of getting into that institution’s graduate schools.
In 2011, Yale said that up to 25 percent of its students could classified as legacy students.
Turns out, getting into college, especially Ivy League schools, is traditionally as much a matter of who you know as it is what you know.
AOC said it best, “If SCOTUS was serious about their ludicrous “colorblindness” claims, they would have abolished legacy admissions, aka affirmative action for the privileged.”
But of course you wouldn’t do that. It would mean you’d might have never gotten to the Supreme Court. It would have impacted the 70% of Harvard legacy students who are white - and harmed Harvard’s ability to rely on them as patrons.
So how about we also ban legacy admissions and see how people like you fare without the privilege, shall we?

BREAKING: Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is humiliated after the floor of Congress erupts, chanting, "Shame shame, shame!” at McCarthy after he censured Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff over his investigations into Donald Trump.
But it gets worse for McCarthy…
ABC News reports that McCarthy tried to control the outburst against him, but “the banging of his gavel could barely be heard over Democrats yelling that the move was a "disgrace" and more.
As the vote was called, Democratic Congresdman Eric Swalwell shouted at McCarthy, “It's pathetic that you're doing this. Pathetic!”
ABC reports that “Schiff was surrounded by fellow Democrats in the chamber, many of whom high-fived and embraced him as he walked towards the front,” and that “multiple Democrats screamed, “What about Santos?"
