.@JamesTalarico: This issue of healthcare is so personal to me. When I was a perfectly healthy 28-year-old running for the Texas House, I got diagnosed with a shocking illness.

I was a Democrat running in a Trump district, and so I had to do things a little differently, and at one point I decided to walk the entire length of my district — 25 miles — in the Texas heat.

About halfway through, I started to feel fatigued and nauseous. I ended up throwing up a few times along the walk.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I went to Walgreens to pick up my first 30-day supply of insulin — it cost me $684. I didn't have that kind of money, so I put it on a credit card, and I soon learned that Texans with diabetes across the state were rationing or skipping doses. Some of them were dying because of it.

And so when I won that seat, I brought Democrats and Republicans together to take on Big Pharma, and we capped insulin copays in Texas at $25 per prescription.

According to press reports and an FBI whistleblower disclosure to the Senate, the man who paid you was a Russian intelligence asset and Putin bag man. Within a year you were flying around Europe working with other Russian intelligence assets accusing my family of corruption. You can’t make this shit up.

Who is Fuks? The FBI assessed him as a co-opted asset of Russian intelligence who laundered money for sanctioned Russian entities. He ran propaganda for Moscow inside Ukraine, including funding a false flag operation that painted swastikas across Kharkiv so the Kremlin could tell the world Ukraine was run by Nazis.

The U.S. banned Fuks from the country over ties to Russian organized crime. Zelensky sanctioned him. He was also Trump’s would-be partner on a Trump Tower Moscow, by his own account to Bloomberg.

That man hired you. He called you his lobbyist. You called it “security consulting.” Then you flew to Kharkiv.

You took money from a Russian intelligence asset and Putin bag man and ran an operation to malign me and my father for the benefit of Trump.

Rudy, you worked with known Russian agents and their proxies to spread lies about me and my father. Their names are Andrii Derkach, Konstantin Kulyk, Andriy Telizhenko and Oleksandr Dubinsky and more. Kulyk handed you a dossier filled with disinformation. You flew to Kyiv in December 2019 to sit down with Derkach, then went on television with him to sell his bullshit tapes.

Trump’s own national security adviser warned the White House that what you brought back was Russian disinformation. You kept going.

Then Trump’s own Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, sanctioned Derkach in September 2020 as an active Russian agent for over a decade, for spreading the same lies you are still spitting. Four months later, on his way out the door, Mnuchin sanctioned the rest of your sources. Kulyk. Telizhenko. Dubinsky. Eleven people and four media front companies in all. Not sanctioned by me. Not by my father. By Donald Trump’s Treasury Department.

And remember Vienna Rudy. In October 2019 you, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman had tickets to fly there to collect a hard drive, courtesy of Dmytro Firtash, an indicted oligarch who has spent a decade in Vienna fighting extradition to the United States. Lev and Igor were arrested at Dulles holding one-way tickets. You canceled yours the next morning. That was way before a computer repairman in Wilmington was ever a twinkle in your eye.
