This past week at work, I was able to see an example of how social listening can benefit a company. When a customer DM'd us on instagram discussing an issue they had with their order, we were able to respond promptly and solve her problem.
The customer was very grateful for the help, and appreciated our quick response. As a social media manager, I took this as a learning opportunity to improve our customer service and prevent a similar issue from happening in the future!
This funny meme from Cava would resonate well with my buyer persona, since she is a 60 year old female who focuses on health and wellness. This connects with my buyer by combining a funny meme from a restaurant they enjoy, with a daily activity they complete to stay healthy!
@RetailPro369 The buyer person for this Hoka ad is ICU nurses who are on the feet helping people all day. The people need comfortable shoes for their fast paced work life. The buyer is younger and dealing with an emotionally taxing job.
Wendy's is a great example of a brand that uses humor as a social media content strategy. They are famous for their funny tweets that relate to current memes and Gen Z humor. This is a great example of one of their funny posts!
I can also relate to this experience! While AI is helpful and quick, sometimes it's easier to talk to employees who have specific knowledge to help you!
This post caught my attention because Love Island has been trending lately, especially Rob’s iconic overalls! 🩷 Free People is riding the wave perfectly by spotlighting their amazing overalls in style! #LoveIsland#FreePeople#TrendAlert@RetailPro369
Love this post because it displays their clothing out in the real world, rather than in just a studio! It makes me want to purchase the jacket because I could see myself wearing it while doing fall activities!
A brand that I have seen use AI to help their customers with purchases is the sunglass brand QUAY. Since their glasses are on the pricey side, they give you the opportunity to try on their glasses virtually before purchasing!
I love this feature because it allows me to be confident in my purchases and it helps me decide what styles I like and don't like, all online. #virtualtryon
I am a social media manager for a local boutique on Devine St in Columbia, SC. After learning about geodemographic segmentation in ch 4, I realized I utilize that marketing strategy every day when I promote our products!
For example, many attend the football games and other sorority events, so we choose to buy and promote clothing specifically for those events! Like this post if you have shopped at My Kim Collection! #boutique
I love the brand Patagonia because of their emphasis on sustainability! It makes me more likely to purchase from their brand because I trust that they are dedicated to their brand's purpose.
One of the reasons I love skims is because they always put representation first in their advertising campaigns. It's refreshing to see campaigns that are realistic and show women who represent different backgrounds and body types!
SKIMS have run advertisements that include people of all ethnicities, races, shapes, sizes, and even disabilities. They truly are a brand that stand on bringing women together and creating a community amongst their buyers. @RetailPro369
