@Martina@Martina I was literally speaking about this Trust this evening! Have told my 3 sons that for Christmas gifts I want them to sponsor Elephants for me from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust 🐘
Meet Bella, 15 month old, German Shepherd. Due to change of circumstances surrounding work commitments , her owner is unable to look after her or give her the time and input she requires.
Bella has been around teenage children, owner states she is great with children. She has also been around two cats, which she will chase, but really wants to play. She is not aggressive. She barks at other dogs and again just wants to play.
Bella is very sociable loving girl, who enjoys being patted, going for walks and made a fuss of. She will bark when meeting new people but is not aggressive , she can be a bit wary, the owner feels the barking comes from that, she does settle quickly once she has sniffed and is sure of people. She is the same with other dogs , likes to bark and wants to get to them to play, could do with a little reactivity training as she is still very young.
Bella is registered with the vet, she is microchipped She is up to date with all vaccinations, worming / tics etc. She cut her leg whilst out on a walk a few months ago, on barbed wire. She required sedation to get stitched but this is now fully healed. Otherwise she is fit, well and healthy.
Bella eats Harringtons dry food mixed with any wet food, (she is sensitive to chicken owner avoids this) but she is good with anything else. She does get treats but again not chicken. She likes beef or bacon flavour as well as all fish flavours.
She loves a ball and will chew sticks all day, she has soft toys that she also enjoys. She loves being outside and would sit in the garden all day.
She sleeps in her crate, she also travels really well. She has been on ferries too and has never been unwell.
Bella can be left on her own, owners put her in crate, which she is fine with. Owner states she does get separation anxiety and will cry when people leave, even if there is someone else left in the house !
Bella she is strong, she can pull on the lead, when she pulls she requires a bit of strength to hold her. Again with training the owners feel this would improve, she loves walks and just wants to run and enjoy life.
Bella is still young, full of energy may be best suited to an owner or family who are used to the larger breed of dog. If Bella is the fit for you please contact [email protected] for more information.
This should be on the national news. Why isn't it? There was a time a missing 13 yr old girl's face would be everywhere!!
These are the details issued by police, I've linked it at the end of the post too:
"Lillia left her home address in Bolton at approximately 20:00 hours on Friday 11th September 2026 and after failing to return home was reported missing by her family.
Lillia has been identified on CCTV in the Piccadilly Gardens area of Manchester City Centre and the Trafford Centre on Saturday 12th September 2026.
Lillia is a white 13-year-old female with long light brown hair worn in a low ponytail. She wears clear frame glasses. She was last seen wearing dark wide leg trousers, black hooded zip front jacket and carrying a black Nike rucksack".
Please share. It takes two seconds to repost and try to get Lillia's face seen. It feels like every day, every hour, we're seeing stories like this about our kids and as a mum it's heartbreaking.
What has this country become?
If you've seen her or have any information, contact Greater Manchester Police:

Please help get Lillia home safely. 🙏
He abused the mother of his child so bad she tried to commit suicide using his insulin. She is one of two women he has abused that the public knows of. A very very very depraved man. Do not celebrate him.
The graves of my close family members (and other families) have been desecrated by @PersimmonHomes who have built a development right up against the wall of the Eastfield Cemetery in Dundee, leading to the collapse of the wall onto the graves, damaging the headstones.
5 close members of my family are buried here and to say I am angry about it is a serious understatement.
Perhaps time @scotgov established a housing developer regulator to control these rogue operators.
Please retweet.

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect. Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.
This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

At 79 years old, no one should be left sleeping on the streets.
Watch as this gentleman shares his experience of homelessness and thanks our shelter team for the care and kindness they showed him.
